“The weird thing about prebooking at Aberdeen and priority parking is when you return; despite the system recognising the car when you arrive to park; when you depart, you have to go to the kiosk to authorise your parking ticket; this is nonsense; get that sorted!”

“Car parking is fine. Access routes to the road when leaving are poor especially at certain times of the day and this needs dealing with soon.”

“I have parked in the priority area frequently over the past 2 years as I have a 2 year old and the additional space, cleanliness and convenience of the priority parking area has always come in very useful. One problem though, I always book and prepay online, but when I go to the exit barriers and insert my ticket it always says I still owe money on the booking, I then have to buzz the attendant, who checks my booking and raises the barrier. This has happened ever single time I have used the priority parking facility, which is strange. Any idea why this happens ?? This isn't a complaint, I'm just raising the issue to see if it can be rectified. Many Thanks.”

“The services are good and very efficient. The booking system with the facility to modify booking without any hassle is most commendable. I changed the date and the vehicle to be parked quite easily on the website. Well done. Will come back again!”

“Booking early meant we got a very good deal on parking. When we arrived back from holiday there was a shuttle bus waiting at the airport and we were back at our car in no time. If only the same could be said about the journey to the airport. We waited for a shuttle bus for 30 minutes and my husband and another passenger had just gone down to the main entrance to see what the hold up was when a bus arrived.”

“The access into and the parking itself could not be easier. The spaces are nice and large and the parking is very secure and very close to the airport. My only negative is that my pre-paid ticket NEVER lets me out the carpark and I always have to call the operator and confirm some details before I get to leave the carpark. This is a real pain as I estimate that 8 non priority cars leave the carpark as I have to sit there with my window open in all weathers speaking to an operator trying to get out. I realise it is only a few minutes but it negates the speed from which I can get from the airport to the car when other collegues that have used the normal carpark are on their way before me.”

“Long stay usually better value but allow yourself an extra 10 mins for the yellow bus. Book in advance for decent discounts. If you're getting to the airport around rush hour, give yourself an extra half hour, especially on Monday mornings...”

“On exiting the car park the machine did not recognise my prepaid ticket. I phoned helpline which was answered after a few minutes. I explained situation, registration number etc, I was told to wait where I was as somebody was coming up to see me. A person arrived in a van and said they had no record of my booking on the system and demanded my reference number. I was able to provide this on my mobile phone, they then asked was I sure I had booked parking at Aberdeen, again I was able to demonstrate that the booking on my phone did state Aberdeen. Eventually they opened barrier and let me out, the episode lasted about 15 to 20 minutes. Not impressed with the technology or the attitude when I was able to present the evidence”

“Booking was quick and easy using on-line website and changes can be easily accommodated after initial booking. Everything went smoothly entering and exiting the car park during the 2 day stay.”
