On arrival back at my car, it would not start. I got help very quickly from the guys looking after the car park. I was very impressed with the speed and pleasant service I recieved.

For weeks now one side of the disabled parking has been coned off with no visible works taking place. I'm at the airport every Tuesday morning and yet to see anything happening. Due to the available disabled spaces being taken I had to go to the enquiries desk to enquire where to park as there was no clear indication of alternative parking for disabled drivers. I was told to move a cone and park. What exactly is going on here?

Dear Mrs McCombie Apologies for any inconvenience caused. The disabled spaces have been closed off in the Short Stay car park since 9th September to enable periodic maintenance of the advertising hoarding. The work was scheduled to commence this week but due to weather, the work will be starting next week. We aim to have these spaces re-opened to the public as soon as possible but for Health & Safety reasons they have to be closed to allow the work to happen. Currently we are upgrading any disabled space users to the Priority car park, once you are ready to leave please stop at customer services and you will be charged normal Short Stay car park rates. Our staff would be happy to assist on any future visits if you have issues.

Easy access and handy for the terminal building. I would suggest it be made clearer on the documentation that on return, provided that you have not stayed beyond time period bought, all one does is drive to the barrier and insert ticket. The only sign I could see about this was at the barrier itself! Don't recall seeing anything in the documentation sent on ticket purchase online.

It was great to park so close to the airport without having to get a bus. In the past we have had problems with the prepaid ticket not recognised and barriers not opening but this time the pre paid ticket worked allowing us to leave without a hitch.

Great location but quite difficult to get into as clearly an after thought to the airport terminal. Too many twists and turns to be "very good" I worked at Gatwick Airport for 17 years so know it can be well done with effective signposting, colour coding and branding. However the ANPR or the exit by ticket was good. Now I have sussed the complicated entry system I would use again.

Very disappointed. Car was fine & all went well until I went to leave & was charged £60.90 at the barrier! Did I visit the wrong car park? It was the one in front of the main entrance. Date 12/09/14 Receipt no 0677390 Time 8.32am! Short/P.P No. 022352. Your help in clarifying would be much appreciated. Regards Frank Mathers Mob tel - 07779784437

Dear Mr Mathers The issue was that you had booked the Short Stay car park, but you then entered the Priority car park. Bookings are only valid for the car park chosen when you book in advance.

I WAS FOUR HOURS LATE BACK DUE TO FLIGHT ISSUES. i WAS CHARGED AN ADDITIONA £23.00 WHICH DOESNT SIT WELL.

Dear Mr Barnes Please accept my apologies, the system has not recognised your exit time correctly. We work in twenty four periods and your booking was for two days, your total time in the park was 36 hours. I have refunded £23.00 back to the card used to make payment at time of exit. Our team are on the car park 24/7 and would be happy to assist with any issues experienced in the car park. I hope you will use our service again in the future.

the recognition didn't work which resulted in a wait while the operator sorted it out . It accused me of not paying when I had done.

Dear Dr Macilwain Apologies our system has not recognised your number plate correctly on entry. Normally the system will read your number plate and interrogate the parking system and then provide a ticket with your booking details attached. This process can take up to 15 seconds and it is important not to push the button to receive a ticket in this time, as this should be automatic. If you have not received a ticket in this time please use the help button. Our team here can then manually intervene and send the correct ticket to the entry. This ticket will then work as normal at exit and not ask for any extra fees. Our team are here to help 24/7 and would be happy to assist.

Was very easy to use, bus driver helpful. Uneasy as no-one there to verify online booking, and expressed concern to driver on our way home, but he reassured me that if there was a problem and I had my printed booking sheet he would sort everything out for me. Everything was ok, so next time I use I will be more confident.

Booked in advance - meant no hold-ups as straight into parking (under cover too!) and into terminal. Also didn't have to queue to pay on way home. Full marks for these parts. However, on reaching exit barrierhad problem as would not let me out. Car next to me (also pre-paid ticket) had same problem. Cars backing up behind us. Attendant did come and sort out eventually but no response on intercom is frustrating as only seemed to be able to answer one query at a time.

Dear Mr Laird We do offer special offers that are available by booking online in advance. Currently we offer October Holiday special in the Long Stay car park of seven days or more at £4.99 per day which means a 7 day stay would cost £34.99. The offer has to be booked in advance to qualify, we constantly monitor our prices and hope to remain competitive. I hope you will use our service again in the future.
