I would never recommend anyone uses this company - I ordered an item and realised it has no cover that could be purchased (for a grill) and so attempted to cancel the order the same day. As it was after 1 hour they refused the cancellation and charged me £120 + VAT to return BUT ALSO 25% of the original value as a restocking fee despite the item still being on the pallet unopened. They get around the laws as they say this is a business to business as consumer to business it would not be legal. Therefore do not order if you are a business and take your money elsewhere

An email sent to Kevin O'Donoghue - Director at Adexa: Hello Kevin, hope you're well. I'm not long off a call (one of many over the last couple of weeks) with our CS team at Rugby. Born and raised here myself, I have been oblivious to your company and size of operation, until deciding to open a new food-related project in Rugby town centre and researching commercial kitchen supply wholesalers to help kit out this exciting, soon-to-open venture. You guys came up trumps - range (tick), price (big tick), business proximity (tick). Whilst at an opening spend of £4K, we'll never be your biggest customer, I'd disappointed to say that, like the droves of customers that have elected to never give you any business again (I've subsequently found across trusted review site and social forums set-up to slate your operation), neither will I. Having had the displeasure of having to experience overt unwillingness to help, blatant rudeness and tactics that demonstrate all-out avoidance to accept responsibility for defective items, I was wondering whether this level of service was a company directive either that or are they just war-torn from constantly having to daily battles with CUSTOMERS interrupting their sales-only focused agenda? Can I make special reference to Eloise, for her confrontational attitude and subsequent email this evening informing me that as I'm a few days outside of my 14-day invoice date, I now need a engineers report to validate my 'alleged' fault on a £91 meat slicer!.. she's certainly doing your business proud! I wish you well with your tenure at Adexa, I've never been appalled enough to write to a business about just how bad the customer service level is, but on this occasion, I will go out of my way to implore people not to go near your company. Best regards to you sir Ian R

If I could give a zero I would - never use this company - I ordered a blender and it broke in 3 weeks - we had to send videos to show it was broken, was asked to change the amp and video again - was told they wouldn't replace it as they didn't know when it happened (bearing in mind we only had it 3 weeks) their approach is absolutely disgusting and amazed they are still in business- you would think that with all the bad reviews they would take a look at things they are so bad at and we cant all be wrong, they obviously stay in business because they sell items that if go wrong you don't get a refund or even replaced!! Disgusting! stay away from this company I only wish I had read the reviews first.

Extremely bad experience. I ordered two stainless steel work tables that arrived badly damaged. When I contacted their customer service department I was just told that i am not able to return the product, get a refund or ask for a replacement because I didn't asked the delivery driver to wait for me to open the packages and check the items. I was also told that I am not covered by customer protection because I ordered through the company. I strongly advise to be extremely careful when you order from them, don't expect to be threated as a normal company would threat their customers.

I ordered a glass washing machine on behalf of my local village hall last August. Delivery was a shambles and it took phone calls and emails before it was sorted out. Eventually the machine was professionally installed but first time used it leaked, it appears that a door seal is missing. Adexa's customer care team keep dodging responsibility even though the cost of a seal is likely very little. Much correspondence and months later the machine is still out of order. I am waiting a response to my request to pay for a seal as a last resort because the machine is no use as it is. I advise anyone thinking of ordering from Adexa to find another supplier if they can. The company likes to take your money, but in the event of a problem they use every excuse to delay hoping you will go away.

Absolutely appalling customer service. Delivers a item broken, only weeks later do they plan a collection, and then tell me they expect me to lug an XXL item across Bristol to get a refund. I am single woman and do not drive, which they have been told. Do not order from this brand.

This company should be taken to court for their disgusting avoidance of responsibility for sending out faulty goods not fit for purpose. I would avoid them at all costs - their cheap prices are a guise for peddling worthless stock. They have no returns policy covering faulty products - once items are delivered, it is yours forever whether it works or not. The only time they will accept a return is if the item is delivered by the courier in damaged condition - presumably because they can charge the courier for the loss. Their customer service team is trained to fob you off with circular emails and numerous silly requests for photos and descriptions. When you get fed up with the time wasting while you try to run a real business, and ask to speak to a manager, you are told they are in a meeting - forever apparently. I've only spent £40 this time and don't have the time to pursue them in court after they rejected my claim for a refund through my credit card company. Buy from them at your own risk. Adexa, you will not last long with your ethos.

Unbelievable!!! I have just written this to Adexa after 21 days of mindless, fruitless complaints to an inept Customer Care (?) department ! They have just responded with the following message: "Thanks for your email, I will remind you that your are a registered business and therefore not covered under any form of consumer law so unfortunately this legalisation does not apply to you " UNBELIEVEABLE! I am writing with regards the Professional Glass Front Wine Cooler 130L Black/Silver| Adexa AXW130I purchased from you on 31 January 2022 for £286.80 which is not fit for the purpose due to the following problems: The item is unusable as the handle cannot be attached to the body of the wine cooler due to the following reason: There is a small black ‘holding’ screw that requires removal to enable the handle to be fixed in place. This screw has sheared off (either in the factory or during delivery) and is lodged in the fridge door so I am unable to attach the handle to the fridge. I have sent both pictures of the door /screw and a detailed explanation to your Customer Care Service on numerous occasions requiring action / resolution to this issue commencing 4 February 2022. To date the only assistance or response I have received from Adexa Customer Care Service other than “this has been passed over to the correct team to follow up and you will receive a response when they have had a chance to review this,” was a link to a “YouTube” video showing me how to remove a broken thread /screw and a suggestion that I could do this myself! Apart from this ridiculous DIY suggestion from Adexa Customer Care Service (which had I attempted to do, would have invalidated any guarantee), Adexa has done nothing to resolve this issue 17 days since first brought to your attention.
