About AKRacing Australia:

AKRacing has come a long way since their inception in 2001, where their focus was solely on the production of race car seats. The AKRacing brand was previously known as AK Seat. Fast forward to 2008 and AKRacing now specializes in producing premium and ergonomic gaming and office chairs and equipment.

The AKRacing brand was introduced into the Australian market back in 2015, where they continue to operate out of the leafy green suburb of Kirrawee. AKRacing now has distributors all over the world - America, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Tahiti and Europe, just to name a few.

Something that sets AKRacing apart from their competitors is that they do 100% of their own designs, R&D, product development, testing and quality control. AKRacing highly guarantee their products, as they manufacture every single part, which means that they do not have to source these components from other suppliers, allowing them to ensure the quality is always consistent.

Currently AKRacing Australia offers their chairs in 3 different materials, which feature across 9 different chair series, boasting an impressive range of over 45 different chairs in total.

Not a good business model to not offer returns especially when something costs around $500 which is a lot of money to a lot people and have to save up to spend this on 1 item. And chairs don’t suit everyone’s body. It’s hard to tell if this is suitable for the body unless we try. You can learn from Nike and adidas. They allow returns then check the product is ok then refund the money. You can easily refurbish when things are pretty much new. Or maybe allow a discounted section on your site. Very bad company for not allowing returns.

Trying to return a chair I used for 2 hours. Since two weeks no helpdesk response or reply to my RMA. To me it looks like they don´t want customers to return their items.

0 Customer service given... This brand has very poor service for their warranty. The helpdesk is not helping/responding AT ALL. When contacting them through Facebook they claim they are not responsible for their own product they make. Thanks AKracing 🙂 Great customer service you guys give thumbs up. After facebook messaging with them, due to no respoding them on any emails they have send me this message. And as said in the message below i contacted the company they told me to contact and PCB is not doing business with AKracing anymore for over 6 years because of the poor quality they deliver. So mr. Director of AKracing please reply :) " Hello Chris, Ulyana here, director at AKRacing. First of all, I am very sorry that you are experiencing problems with your AKRacing chair. As far as I understand from our internal conversations, there has been a certain degree of misunderstanding going on. According to my information, you would like to claim the broken chair under the 5/10 year warranty advertised by AKRacing B.V. on the Overture model you purchased on Nov 30-2020. Unfortunately, our 5/10 year warranty does not apply to the Overture model, as stated in our official EU Warranty Policy, which Shelly has pointed you to previously: https://eu .akracing. com/pages/warranty-policy. The 5/10-year manufacturer warranty is only applicable to our current product range listed on eu.akracing.com. The Overture model is not and never was part of this range. In fact, AKRacing B.V. never officially carried the Overture model in the EU and therefore has no a) legal obligation or b) technical possibility to offer a warranty for this chair simply because we never offered it for sale and do not have replacement parts for the chair. The Overture model you purchased was sold in the EU by a 3rd party distributor, PCB that is not affiliated with AKRacing BV. They are the importer of the product and therefore have a legal obligation to service the product for their advertised warranty term. The warranty terms for AKRacing products distributed by PCB can be found on their website: https://akracingeurope .eu/warranty-policies/. Specifically, they read: "Manufacturer Warranty Thank you for your interest in the products and services of AKRacing Europe. This Limited Manufacturer Warranty applies to all products purchased from AKRacing Europe or any of our official resellers. What does this limited warranty cover? This Limited Warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the first two years from the date of purchase." I would therefore recommend reaching out to PCB and requesting warranty service for the Overture model from them as you are still within your 2-year warranty term until November 30-2022. You can contact PCB at akracing @pcb.se or, if you don't hear back, here is a mode detailed list of contact information with phone numbers: https://pcb. se/en/Meny/Contact In case PCB refuses to warrant your claim, I may suggest opening a chargeback with your bank for the transaction because you're being refused service for a product within its warranty period. Once again, I am very sorry AKRacing BV is unable to help with this warranty claim. " After a convo today i get this message of them regarding to PCB :) PCB are lying to you. They were the one and only distributor until 2018 for AKRacing products. The chair you purchased was distributed by them. AKRacing B.V. Never sold that model in Europe. Oh and Trustpilots reviews ARE for PCB.

STAY AWAY FROM AK RACING. TERRIBLE PRODUCTS/EXPERIENCE. I purchased two AK Racing Max - BOTH rockers broke within the first week. AK Racing customer service was so garbage that they sent me some parts, but not others to fix it. When I advised them of this, they refused to provide the parts needed and actually charged me $50 bucks to get the parts I needed to fix brand new chairs that were broken out of the box! It also took forever to get the parts. Garbage chairs. Garbage customer service. Garbage company.

Take care buying here. I bought a AK racing Max chair and the delivery was quick but the quality of the chair is pretty average. The PU leather on the back of the seat has ripples all through it and looks terrible. The seat has rubber material under the PU leather that pokes your thigh as you sit. I was told this is the flattest seat they have but it turns out the front of the seat is raised and cuts the circulation off your legs if you sit in it for to long. They told me they will not refund so now I'm stuck trying to sell the seat to try and re coup any money back. I'm out $499 here. Buyer Beware!

Genuine piece of garbage the fake leather is falling in pieces and the armrests cracked. The chair is poorly balanced and down right dangerous because it can skate from underneath you when you lean forward. Try to contact the sellers but they never made any attempt to reply , by

Hi Eric, Who did you try to contact? We have about 3 or 4 means of contacting us and we usually respond within one working day. Have you tried emailing support@ak-racing.com.au as we do not know how your chair has gotten to this level of discomfort?

I no longer use the chair i bought because all the fake leather is peeling off and making a mess of my house.

Absolute garbage. I ordered my chair in 2015. It arrived unacceptably damaged. I then contacted the company with photos of the damage and provided my purchasing receipt which "Grant" requested in order for a replacement to be sent. After providing my purchasing receipt I received no further correspondence and no replacement.

Hi Ethan, We are very sorry to hear this. Grant stopped working for us back in 2016, we have sent you a private message to follow up this feedback. Thanks, AKRacing Australia.

The base section of the chair broke after approx 18 months. Don't pay premium price for these chairs as the quality doesn't match the price tag.

I just received an email asking me to review a chair I just purchased. I purchased the chair well over a year ago. I wouldn't recommend this company, the chair I received had the gas strut break within 3 months, I wrote a complaint to them directly via email and received a response, thry said they would send a new gas strut part out to me. The gas strut size they sent was the wrong size, I also couldn't remove the strut that was broken, I asked them how to remove the strut and how much force I should use because I didn't want to break it further, they gave little response and said use adequate force but not excessive - not sure what that means. They also never addressed the gas strut they sent me being the wrong size. I never had the time to fix the chair, and decided to not bother with asking for their help because they should have just sent a new chair because clearly what they sent me was defective for it to break in 3 months. Would not recommend.
