“I need help the shipping address is not correct on my order I’ve sent so many emails and chat messages and no has helped me. It seems impossible to get any response.”
“I honestly really love what Alabaster Co. is doing. Their Bible studies and books feel so different from anything I’ve used before. It doesn’t feel like you’re opening something heavy or overly structured. It feels more like you’re being invited to slow down and just sit with Scripture.
One thing I want to say though, I also genuinely love traditional Bibles. I know some people feel distracted by them, but for me, I actually love the layout. It doesn’t distract me. I appreciate the structure and depth they offer. So I don’t see Alabaster as a replacement for that, more like a different kind of experience.
What stood out to me right away with Alabaster is how beautiful everything is. As someone who’s creative, I really appreciate that. The photography, the layout, the intentional spacing, it all feels so thoughtfully done. It’s not just aesthetic for the sake of it, it actually helps create a quiet space to engage with the text.
I’ve found that it helps me slow down in a different way. Not rushing, not trying to get through a passage, but actually pausing and noticing. It feels more reflective, almost like a devotional moment rather than a study session.
Their journals are also really well done. Simple, clean, and intentional. I like that they don’t over-direct you, but still give you enough space to process your thoughts, prayers, and what you’re learning.
At the same time, if you’re looking for deep study tools, commentary, or something more academic, this probably won’t meet that need on its own. It’s really more about encounter than analysis. For me, it works best alongside my traditional Bible and other study resources.
It is a bit of an investment, but I see it as something meaningful I can keep returning to.
Overall, I really appreciate how Alabaster creates space to experience Scripture in a slower, more intentional way. It’s beautiful, reflective, and feels very aligned for someone who values both depth and creativity.”
“I got the Bible Study Volume One and I really enjoy it. I like how you have the “today” as how it is in modern world, really gets me thinking. I like the reflection questions too. Very well done, thank you!!”
“I got the gospel of John and some minis as gifts and they were absolutely loved. I do recommend getting these, and especially as coffee table books that anyone can pick up and read through. The art is really beautiful and the quality was so nice!”
“Love these books! Just started The Book of James and I love the minimalist feel and the imagery that accompanies the text. My only complaint is some of the small reverse text is filled in and hard to read ( my eyes are not the best though). I would definitely recommend these to anyone new to the bible or an easy grab for reference.”
“The Bible Study books are so amazing! I was looking to learn more Bible stories. I tried on my own, but I was all over the place and felt like I didn't understand what I read. These books give me direction and so much clarity to the verses with genuinely heartfelt food for thought. I cried so much with the first lesson, I am eager to continue! Thank you Alabaster”
“The Letters hardcover book is exquisite, with rich and beautiful pages. The only unfavorable aspect is that the book was not packaged with any padding or protection; the corners of both the book and book jacket are bent as a result. Rather disappointing as I intended to have the book as a table centerpiece.”
