“I recently went to the Maple Grove Aldi. I thought I would save some money. NOT THE CASE. I was shocked to see how high prices have gone. I bought what I usually buy at Walmart. I was 10 dollars more. Won't be going there anymore. I'll stick with Walmart, I get more variety and better pricing. I use to really like Aldi. To bad, what a let down.”
“I have shopped at all these every week for years. Yesterday I went there and there were two workers in the store the prices had been increased on some products higher than another local grocery store that has all the items that I need. If I'm not going to save money at all these there's no point on me going to two stores to find all of the items. Some of the shelves were bare which I imagine is due to the lack of workers since it seems profit is most important to you. I hope you get the numbers you're looking for but I can't support you any longer if I'm not going to save money there. I thought the idea of your store was to save money. I thought that's why things came out of their shipping boxes on the shelves. Now you've put in self checkout except for one lane and the person working that one lane has to also run all of the self checkout Lanes which creates quite a cluster. I don't know if you're under New Management or ownership but it shows and I'm afraid you're going to lose on this one. I will miss you.”
“Quite surprised at the bargains I've been buying. I like to eat fresh products. I was buying rocket, watercress, and salmon. This can be expensive elsewhere I was pleased to find aldis sold packs of fresh rocket, watercress and spinach all in the one bag. For under £1. Also the salmon is cheaper than my previous supermarket. There's also other surprises as you go along. Like flatbeds. I don't see them in other shops.”
