“Just got back from lovely holiday to Oxford and Cambridge great crowd on coach all got on really well but what a superb driver we had (Dave) could not do enough for us all mingled with all passengers so helpful and caring.Stayed at the Holiday Inn in Stevenage lovely and clean a bit far out had fantastic guides in Oxford and even better in Cambridge lovely day in St Albans.As for the Holiday inn and I've stayed in a few the staff are rude miserable with the exception of one of the bar staff on the first night we arrived unfortunately she was not in the rest of the week breakfast were lovely but not enough choice for evening meal and when they run out did not replace staff need some training how to smile and be polite to customers Thanks to all passengers and the driver DAVE for making our holiday so special”

“We have been going with Alfa for 3years now and have been 8 times , We have enjoyed every one of them, However we have just returned from Weymouth and that was exceptional, We’re now looking forward to our next holiday in September. Thank you Alfa.”

“Great holiday down to Llandudno in North Wales holiday was great we had three steam train journeys threw the week staying at the Hydro staff are excellent great help throughout our holiday very helpful at reception and throughout the hotel ros where very clean and tidy great sea views entertainment was excellent Bobby gold was very funny dinning room was very nice the staff work very hard to serve each table troy the waiter was very helpful with information how to get to different places Rob was driving our coach he was very professional and helpful throughout our stay always helping my wife with her delta frame on and of the coach he always had it ready for her at the coach door full of information throughout our stay and managed to fix my wife's walker as it had come loose with a screw missing he is a very hard worker and I would say the best coach driver we have had for a long time thank you Rob for making our trip so great we will be back as soon as we can 5***** service he is a great asset to to alfa travel team”

“Got a phone call a few hours before our holiday telling us the only lift was not working , infact had been out of action several days . We were offered no change of venue or date we had 54 steps to our room . We are all elderly , one using one stick and has balance problems following a stroke one uses two sticks because of rheumatoid arthritis and ankle tendinitis and one has severe heart problems .we had requested showers instead of baths but were not told to go into detail about all our health problems .we were basically told to get on with it . Obviously profit is more important than caring for their clients welfare”

“Just back from another smashing holiday at The Queens Hotel Blackpool. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to look after everyone. We have been with Alfa self drive to this hotel many times and have always been satisfied. I have a wheelchair but this has not been a problem at all. Special thanks to Tyler on Reception for taking such good care of us - Chris - for bingo and entertaining us and for the restaurant, cleaning and bar staff. We had a lovely time and can’t wait to return. .”

“On arrival at the monarch hotel in Bridlington i was allocated room 403 and on my entry i felt sick the room was a health and safety hazard it was disgusting i went to reception to ask for another room but was told there was no more available reported all issues but fell on deaf ears unfortunately then i emailed Alfa travel with a formal complaint and all photos while i was still at the hotel but had no response from them until Saturday 29th June just as my coach arrived at Tamworth services which i thought was very amusing as i had now left the hotel they informed me that the manager had said that the room was fine before i arrived so I'm not quite sure what they are trying to insinuate i did take some other guests into my room and they couldn't believe i was staying at the same hotel one couple kindly fetched there camera and took some photos of everything and i also took photos myself but Alfa appear to have not received all of them because they say i sent them in the wrong format but all the photos were sent together so i find this very confusing i have 2 more holidays booked this year but i will be cancelling these because i think when you have been disrespected like this they do not deserve your custom i would rather loose my deposit than give them any more money that i have worked all my life for and saved for my retirement i am 70 yrs old and if this is how they treat the elderly it's very disrespectful my family are helping me now to take this further and if needed legal action nothing more to say”

“I have been with Alfa travels now 3 times And will again a lot more. From start to finish when they pick you up in feeder coach and you start of on a Alfa coach, to the hotels. Staff ,food and excursions brilliant.just been back from porthcawl brilliant well done to everyone there 👏🏻”

“We had another lovely stay at Cliffe Norton Hotel in Tenby last week.. The staff at the hotel headed by Jan are a welcoming team. The food was good and also the entertainment. We hope to visit again. The hotel is a short walk from the town.”

“Lots of things long time to get to hotel then from woodhall services set of 45 minutes ten stop for 1and half hours because coach cannot get to hotel in bridlington untill 15 15hrs we started in Lincoln at 7.50 got to hotel in bridlington 15 20 what a long time getting to hotel from Lincoln to bridlington by road is 72miles but took coach 7 and half hours feeder coach from lincoln when to woodhall services on M1 that took 3.5 hours leaving there at 12 00 why because late coach to take us to bridlington this is not first time something like this has happen before this has happen at least 2 twice before also alfa do not enswer any email or complaints at all we not travel with this company again one very unhappy customer”

“I had to sit next to a horrid woman, going&coming back... Also to longer a journey, from start to finish... Hotel, good,... Driver, could be better... So i won't be using alfa travel, ever again... On my month erlier to blackpool, at tamworth interchange, they lost my suitcase. A girl, first day, on tge job, found my suitcase. But upsetting.... So won't be ever travelling with alfa travel, ever again.... Will book with national holidays in future... I give you 0 out of 10...wont be recommending alfa travel. To friends, or anyone... Been with alf travel a few years, but no longer. Unhappy customer, want to unscribe to brochures, & rebooking. Denise”

“we have just returned from a great week at the Regina Hotel in Torquay with Alfa, the staff were brilliant nothing too much trouble, we had a fantastic driver, (Dominic) who was attentive to all the needs of his passengers, very funny, very knowledgable off the area we were in, I would recommend him for driver of the year, the hotel was clean and tidy though a little dated, we had a nice room overlooking the marina, If i was pushed to find a fault it would have to be the food, very basic and not very appealing, to call the cook "a chef" was a little misleading, But all in all a very nice holiday and i would certainly go with Alfa again and certainly back to Torquay, This was our first trip with alfa but it wont be our, last hope to do it again soon, thank you Alfa,”

“Been with Alfa a few times and generally all been good. Just returned from Llandudno, hotel hydro excellent trips, but unfortunately the driver Carl was so miserable. He never spoke or made conversation with anyone. Also the feeder coach system a bit of a bind, took us 3 hours from Nottingham to Tamworth (45 minute away) so decided we would book a taxi home and was in my house before they even left Tamworth”

“If Alfa Travel advertised the exact pick up points and zig zagging across the UK no one would book anything with them...8 hour trip from Portsmouth to Torquay and 10 hour trip from Northampton to Torquay....basic hotels and food...hotel was shocking but nice bed and hot shower. Food was low quality and inedible at times so ate out....lots of health and safety issues with this hotel re outside access by fire door being held open by bit of string and rusty nail....hotel needs knocking down and rebuilding. Will never travel with this company again... disappointing”
