So, I called Allianz again, and they sent me a confirmation email asking me to wait another 10 working days. Honestly, I don’t trust Allianz travel insurance anymore. I’ve never made a claim before, but I’ve spent over a hundred pounds on a year’s worth of travel insurance. The whole situation feels like a scam. Even now, it’s been over 25 days working days in total, and I still haven’t received my insurance refund £27.20 for the canceled flight. I regret buying another Switzerland travel insurance policy for £34.00 from Allianz; I won’t be doing that again :(”

Allianz refused to pay out, citing some small print that stated (in Spanish) that although robbery was covered, only if there was violence.”
