I used to love Amazon's customer service but, like many big companies, they have now put into practice a service that basically evades serving customers. Yes, you can speak with an agent by requesting they contact you but they are generally not knowledgeable and unable to help. I am thinking seriously about not using Amazon any more and definitely cancelling my Prime membership. My last order will take over a week to arrive and the agents cannot tell me why! Why am I paying Prime fee!

Dear Amazon, I am writing to you today to express my concern about the recent trend of selling products as new on Amazon when they are actually used and open. I have personally experienced this issue on several occasions, and I am sure that many other customers have as well. In my most recent experience,I returns multiple items from Amazon. When I received my order package, were clearly used or open or broken. The packaging was open, and the product themselves were dirty and had scratches and broken on them. I was very disappointed, as I had expected to receive a brand new product if any other business would do that would be held responsible but amazon is above the law They are aloud to do falls advertisements I contacted Amazon customer service about this issue, and they were very helpful. They issued me a refund for the headphones, and they also told me that they would investigate the seller. However, I am concerned that this issue is not being taken seriously enough. I believe that it is unfair to sell products as new when they are actually used. This is especially true when the products are sold at a premium price. Customers who purchase these products are expecting to receive a brand new product, and they should not be misled. I urge Amazon to take this issue seriously and to take steps to prevent it from happening in the future. I believe that Amazon should require sellers to provide clear and accurate information about the condition of their products. Additionally, Amazon should have a system in place to investigate complaints about sellers who are selling used products as new. I appreciate your time and consideration. I have so far always been satisfied with Amazon service until recently. I ordered a CPU work $485. I was away when I got a confirmation for the delivery. On returning to my home a few days later, I never found my package. I reached out to Amazon for a refund and was directed to the third party who sold it. He provided me with a proof of delivery from Fedex. However, I still did not have my package. I reached out again to Amazon customer service and was told to reach out to the seller. I explained I had already done that, and was asked to do so again and wait for 48hrs, after which if I didn't get a respond, I should reach out again and they would up an A to Z guarantee claim which should cover my lost. I reached out and the claim was opened. I was asked to file a police report which I did, and upload the report number to the claim, which I also did. 2 Days later, my claim was declined which I appealed asking for a reason my claim was declined. Anther 2days later, my appeal was decline again, stating the reason for declining to be that my package was delivered. It is likely my package was delivered as I have hardly had any issues with delivery before. But if my package is delivered and stolen (which I am assuming), why am I now being punished. I not only do not have my package, but also I do not have the $485 I spend for the my package. I find this very unacceptable for a company like Amazon to punish me for no fault of mind, for a service they did not successfully fulfill from their end. I think I will probably start taking my business to physical stores. This is no was to treat your customers.

Amazon Canada down hill, different than it used to be. Returned an item 5 weeks ago, 4 chat agents confirm they have it but still no refund, they send report to me to fill out over and over and play games on chat. They come off very dishonest and like they want to steal my money and on chat just put me off over and over, not helping but saying can I help you with anything else, it is akin to stealing, extreme bad service. I never got a refund even though they say they got the return. month ago Amazon america has not been weird and dishonest like Canada Amazon. They intentionally treat me badly on chat and play games. I have copied and pasted some of the conversations so I have them. One chat agent went against the message Amazon sent me in my account. Many years order from Amazon, under shaw email, then prior to that, Telus email and prior to that when lived in Toronto, so the history goes 10 or more years and never seen anything like this before. The chat agents show they not care about customer nor service. Not sure why they are there as they accomplish nothing over and over.

Customer service is horrendous. They have absolutely no power to make anything right (with valid complaints)... called to complain about dellivery driver lying saying a "delivery attempt was made"... I was here WAITING for them them the entire day. Last time the lie was there "no access to the building" (excuses are becoming too numerous to count)... all custoomer service does is apoloogize, and basically say to wait even longer for another delivery attempt (tomorrow)... with this type of service, what is the point of Prime? People are right when they say Amazon is just getting worse!!

I bought a tv May 20 2023, have waited over a month still not shipped. Have ordred 3 times different tv,s still no email when it would ship. Phoned customer service over 6 times were supposed to follow up never did. Will never buy a tv from them again

It is almost impossible to chat with a real customer service agent!! you keep going in circles until you give up! talking with an agent on the phone is not less terrible they keep transferring me to different departments and one of the department transferred me to Amazon US!!! Was just a waste of time and my problem didn't get solved!!! Terrible terrible terrible customer service, now I'm thinking of deleting my account and buy from Aliexpress instead!!! thanks amazon for giving me such hard time!!!

Warning! Stay away from Amazon & companies who use Intelcom delivery. Amazon has no competency in hiring delivery services. The delivery never shows up when they say it will. I always take days off to receive a package that never arrives! What am I supposed to do about all the money I've lost out on as well as spent just to be able to be home to accept a delivery when they claimed it would arrive!?!?!! They never follow any delivery instructions - which are "call me! - the buzzer does NOT work in my building!!" So they take a picture of the buzzer system and tell me they tried to deliver by ringing the damn buzzer that does NOT work! 🤬 W t f !? I am done with Amazon and any other company that uses Intelcom to deliver their packages. I cancelled my prime subscription today & found a better company. I've had this exact experience too many times for over 1 year now! So it's not like I did notice give them ample time to do right by me - Amazon has failed 👎

Worst customer service ever. The rep was consistently speaking over me...being overly rude. Crystal the manager was even worse. Non compassion pretty much said she does not care. They won't refund my money...bunch of scammers. Crystal needs to go...how can she supervise customer service when her customer service is horrible. Worst company...you just lost a loyal customer.

I was very happy with Amazon until recently. The wrong item was shipped. When received, I tried to contact for a return but was told it was not returnable. I tried to contact the seller but the contact did not work. I tried to contact customer service at Amazon but there doesn't seem to be one. I just keep going in circles with the questions asked. So now I have something I did not order and I did not receive the item I did order. Very unhappy.

Amazon.ca is getting worse and worse every year ! Poor customer service, chat agents are a bunch of incompetent, liars and unhelpful. They will never try to solve the issues, instead they will copy and paste the answer from their script. Orders are often delivery very late or never arrive after weeks waiting ! I avoid to order from Amazon as less as possible !

I ordered an AC, a family member told me about 2hrs later it would not work in my type of window. So I immediately tried to cancel it. About 2hrs after that I got a email, saying they couldn't cancel it and gave me two options. One was to refuse it when the Deliver came. The next day I got the email saying it had been shipped. When it came I refused it. Checked my Amazon account later that day, there was a note.. 'Canceled' and that UPS was returning it to them. Next day UPS site said delivered to sender and gave the name of the guy at Amazon, who signed for it. My Amazon account now however said 'Delivered' and underneath that was my address. I have been trying to get my refund ...and now 10 days later they say they still have to wait for UPS to deliver it to them. While talking to them they continuously kept telling to wait, they would be back. One even told me I would be getting my refund and if I chose to put it on gift card it would be in 2-3 hrs...that was yesterday....still nothing. Today the guy just ended the call, while I was typing...mid conversation. I spoke as calmly as I am know...didn't even swear. Been a customer with them for a very long time. Four people, 4 accounts, 1 of them is Prime, 2 of those accounts buy monthly and this is the way good customers are treated. I for one will not be buying anything big from them again....if I buy at all... Temu is looking good...2 here have ordered from them, Great customer service, The products have been just as good as Amazon at about half the cost.

Amazon is the WORST in the delivery departments since, Amazon as the knowledge of this problem for YEARS. With no solutions available to customers across Canada, the amounts of packaged stolen for customers is unbelievable. The fact is customers like me cut their shopping at Amazon down to only 15 %, it's took me from doing most of shopping meaning 95% on Amazon down to 10% or 15%. Amazon lost more then 80% of sale with me Amazon is now my last choices, I will do everything to NOT buy on Amazon ! The REASON is delivery only delivery ! The last couple of years package was left completely at the wrong address, or simply left outside never at my door. The options to deliver at the post office is great but not every products got this options, the headache of getting refunded by a seller or even getting a answered plus the waiting is disgusting . My husband order me a gift not knowing to not order if the options of delivery to post office is not available, the waiting game is on never NEVER received the package and now waiting for the seller to answer. The stupidity of the question ask for this package is mind blowing, asking the customers to look for this package himself like to go at the neighbours IT'S completely ridiculous when it you're faults. Still today lost another amounts of money on Amazon no package no answers from seller, still waiting my advice don't buy on Amazon until this delivery problems is solved. That or must Amazon threat there's customer basically don't care, Amazon care about money's not the customers wake up . Where my package ?????
