“I was passing through Brisbane and needed a new peep sight for my Bow so I pooped into Apex. The staff were fantastic and happily tied in my new sight for me and checked it was tied in at the right height. While I was there I picked up the Hunters Element Bino Defender Harness, which Iâm also very happy with thus far. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and lack the ego you can sometimes find at archery shops. Was denied a replacement Horse Bow when it snapped stringing it with the Step Through Method and told itâs âcommon senseâ to use a Stringer.
Theyâve had this issue before but nowhere on their site does it state this or that your warranty will be void using a method used for thousands of years.
Would it not be COMMON SENSE to have that on the site if youâd already robbed other customers of their $300+.
Have now spent less than $200 getting a Horse Bow from Odinson Archery all the way over in the USA and told by the site owner that his will be fine even without the use of a Stringer.”
“Ordered twice now and both times there were issues regarding supply or discrepancy to what was advertised. Due to last order taking a long time to arrive, this time I actually rang to verify stock availability prior to placing the online order and was told all good. After two weeks not received I rang for an update only to find out order was about to be packed (two weeks later?) BUT the bow quiver was not available in black and to avoid lengthy delay I had to settle for Camo?? The quiver ordered was black, so why advertise something that isnât in stock just to get the sale (Bait and switch advertising)?
It is my belief that Apex donât necessarily carry the stock advertised and advertise on price alone for competitive advantage, then order the product off the supplier, hence the extended lead time. Itâs unethical and I wonât support this form of online trading.”
