Have a gorilla compound myself. Never had to replace string as yet. But sure google, or YouTube will have a video showing of what you need to do. You can find anything on YouTube. Or, your local hunting shop would most likely be able to do it for you. With the right gear etc to make it easier for them.
I was in your shop with over $2000 and a budget of $3000 in my pocket to buy a bow and had two in mind.
After waiting for 20 minutes to get served I walked around trying to find someone. Luckily for you guys no staff available (busy) so I continue to wait as staff served people that had only been waiting 10 minutes.
I asked an staff member Asian appearance a question which he didn’t know and he walked off.
I waited some more before finally giving up and walked out. I drove an hour, 30 minutes there 30 minutes back home.
I was thinking I would get good service and a nice bow to take home.
What I got was a waste of time.
You guys just missed out on Anywhere from $2000 cash to$3,000 cash.
In future if you don’t have enough staff, how about having a ticket system so we know at some we will be served and in turn.
My first experience with Apex hunting and it was terrible.
Live in NZ myself and have brought off Apex Aus a few times over the years. Just watch out for duty getting it through customs if it’s over a certain dollar amount. I can’t remember how much the duty margin is. So it may pay to call customs NZ and asking what the maximum is before being pinged by them. The freight charge wasn’t too bad considering. Most I paid for was my gorilla compound bow, kit and plastic case. Largish item all up I purchased of them. Think it was 40 odd dollars 3 years ago. No idea what it is now though. But I’m sure it won’t cost an arm and a leg. Size and weight are what usually make the difference in postage.
