Not called before the delivery so missed the apparent delivery. Said I was not home. This is untrue. Rearranged delivery but not received a time slot at 5pm day before delivery. Not sure what’s going on.

Delivery time was way too long. If I'd have known how long it would take I would never have ordered, other companies do next day but 3 weeks is rediculous and no communication either unless you've set up an account and even then you have to go looking for it! Driver was good and put it where we wanted it to go. Would I use them again? Not with these long delivery times.

The unit had obviously been returned by another customer as several screws were loose inside of the unit and the plastic bags that contain the fixings were ripped open. Several screws were also missing and one of the threads had been stripped showing the unit had been partially installed and then dismantled and reboxed. The box was not sealed which initially made me suspect that someone had already tried to install it. Very disappointing!

Appliances Direct is badly let down by their courier, Arrow XL. First they claimed there was nobody at home (we were) and sent a photo of a country lane as proof they had tried the house (!). Then when delivery was rescheduled, the drivers refused to remove the packaging, even though we had paid extra for this. Appliances Direct customer services team said all the right things and the fee was refunded, but the whole experience was frustrating, and left me wishing I'd gone with John Lewis.

Bit of everything really! My emails were hacked and despite at least 6 calls to operators who sadly I couldn't understand...who couldn't understand when phoning me back with the code...my call guardian..so when item delivered it had to be returned as no code had been sent to my landline phone...it came the next day after you reconfigured the code to my mobile. Also..when ordering the website showed free fitting...it didn't happen and am.unable to check original order. So...not good and hampered by foreign voices.

If you're going to sell American style fridges that are wider than. The standard doors in the UK, you need to let your delivery guys take the doors off. Most, including the one I bought, have quick-release doors. Despite paying for installation, they ended up having to leave the fridge outside the back door, and I took the doors off with a mate that afternoon.

First BBQ ordered the handle on the lid was broken so we sent it back . With the replaced item I noticed that the door axle did not stay in the hole . Customer services knew about this and sent me the missing part and a copy of the updated manual . It was left out of the manual !

You need to liaise with delivery company better . I was told by yourselves it would be delivered on Bank Holiday Monday, but didn't receive it until Tuesday as company do not deliver on Bank Holidays!

Not delivered on specified (paid for) date, but they did refund half of the delivery fee. Price of product was also reduced on the day it was delivered to me. Everything was fine but those two elements made it a disappointing experience.

Ordering and delivery was fantastic! Driver was nice and polite. The dehumidifier works good but to open the drawer to empty, absolutely ridiculous, you fight to get it open then it causes floods in the room you put it in. Don't why is causes such a mess

You really do not want to know what I think and it’s better if I don’t put it in writing. To have the delivery team say it was not listed for installation and walk back to the truck and drive away was not on. I bought an appliance with free delivery and free installation.

The hob was in good shape and looked beautiful. But sadly the delivery service did not match its quality of hob. I was told the hob would be delivered between 1-2 pm. I had an installer waiting at the property, on the fourth floor, all day. On his way home, he found the item at the entrance of the building. It turned out that the deliverer had dropped the item at the building's entrance without bothering to inform us. The installer had to come back the following day to install the hob.

Purchased a washing machine but the spin was so noisy I had to turn it off and call an engineer who said it needed a new drum as counter weight had broken aways I called to have a new machine delivered the next day but deliveryman said he could not take away the broken machine which has now been sitting in the middle of the kitchen for 5 days they are due to collect it this eve

Delivery was fine, although 4 different delivery dates were shown against my order. Was delivered within prescribed timescale. Found that oven was heating up but thermostat warning light was not working. Contacted manufacturer who organised engineer callout. This took a 40 minute plus phone call to arrange visit, most of which was taken up by them pushing extended warranty policy! Would have preferred to receive a fully functioning product as it was brand new.

I did not appreciate the surprise premium rate phone number to place my order £5.99 just to phone through an order - outrageous! I also thought the price of delivery was ridiculous to have the cooker delivered the same week but I paid because I was without any means to cook with. Additionally, I had a phone call from them two days before delivery. I said I was driving (hands-free call on my part) so make it quick thinking there was a problem with my delivery - there wasn't thankfully - but the customer service advisor wanted to do a survey on why I had chosen the cooker etc. even though he knew I wanted a quick call. I just wanted to buy a cooker, not have a conversation about my decision making process. Honestly, why do these companies think they have a right to my time? I would not use this company again and I would not recommend them.

Competitive price, awful customer support. Paid for an expedited next delivery, 4 days and counting still no parcel. AppliancesDirect keeps blaming the shipping company and do not return calls after promised to do so. -
