If there was a zero I would've picked it. Don't deliver when promised over and over. Customer service doesn't exist they just tell you what you want to hear which results in wasted time sitting in waiting on delivery. Honesty is something they need to learn. Emailing head office is just a waste of time as it's the same guys mentioned in every bad review... must be a pleasure working at Archers. Would I use them again - never. Would I recommend- never.

Avoid this company. Hugely stressful shopping experience. You’ll pick your delivery day of choice and it’ll seem easy - but be warned, this is unlikely to happen, and then you’ll go down a wormhole of missed delivery dates, long days spent waiting and long hours spent complaining/trying to sort it on the phone and by email to head office with the worst customer service. After they delivered the wrong item on the first delivery day, you’d think head office would prioritise my delivery, but they had me waiting in/taking the day off work on a further 2 days 9-6pm will th still no delivery showing up and getting massively messed about. Only after a lot of complaints in writing and verbally did they finally arrange delivery on a 4th day of waiting, completely messing up our work and childcare schedules and lives. Head office treat you like they’re doing you a favour, are full of excuses and woes about their courier and try to shift blame, the three staff (David, Stuart and manager Dean) constantly contradict each other by saying the opposite thing, and Dean, bless him, went as far as to say Archers did not offer a bed frame assembly service, when I asked for this upgrade as part of compensation for messing me about so much. I was staring at the page on the archers website that offered this service. A manager that doesn’t know what services his company offers? I think not. Just a sales snake in disguise as a manager who’s main job is to undermine the very value of good customer service. We did eventually get the bed on day 4 and it got assembled, and we got a discount off the mattress, but to get this compensation did not come without huge stress and long time consuming stressful phone calls - essentially a test of your tenacity. If you’re up for that, Archers is your company! Id rather have just had the first mishap rectified immediately and delivered on the 2nd day of waiting. A very sad company, with terrible policies, and a lack of honest, decent customer service. Overall a very sad, frustrating and stressful experience. We are about to buy two new double mattresses and two new children’s beds, suffice to say we will not be using Archers. I have already actively told several friends about this experience. I hope the news travels of their terrible service. Archers don’t deserve to be trading in their current state.

I v not received my mattress yet it was supposed to be delivered on 23/8/19 stayed in all day, didn't get delivered, I phoned Archers on Saturday morning, they came up with an excuse and said I will get it delivered on Monday now. There is no communication from Archers or the delivery company UPS, I had to phone them 3 times to find out why I have not received the mattress , its Monday now and it better come today. I will never be using Archers again.

Spoke to a very pleasant young gentleman who was able to advise on the best mattress for my needs. Organised everything over the telephone and delivery was made a short time after. Delivered to my room and placed upon my existing bed. Delighted with the service.

Ordered a single divan bed. Free delivery which was an unexpected bonus. It arrived on time with friendly couriers and required no assembly. Excellent standard of product.

I ordered a bed frame online on the 1st may 2019 and it was to be delivered on the 8th may, on the day it was to be delivered we got tracking of the goods and was given a two hour time slot of when it would arrive, we received a phone call from the driver to say he would be half a hour , then he phoned again to say he would be five minutes,(All good) probably making sure we would be in the house for him arriving. When he arrived he brought two big boxes into my house then said he was missing a box and had forgot to load it on his van earlier. What got me angry at this point is that he knew he was missing the box all along but still tried to deliver goods that would not go together, I did say that if he mentioned that the box was missing when he phoned I would have told him there was no point delivering saving him time off his day. My wife decided to cancel the order and get a bed elsewhere as it would take too long to get a replacement, therefore she phoned the Glasgow office and went through the process of refund etc, after a couple of hours she noticed that she had nothing to confirm that the order had been canceled or anything to confirm the refund, we phoned the Glasgow branch again and got talking to a sales assistant, he told us that a refund will take 5-7 days to go into our account, I did point out it doesnt take 5-7 days to transfer money from one account to another but according to him it does. I asked to speak to the person above him but he wasnt available at the moment, therefore I asked to speak with the financial director or accounts , to which he replied they didnt have those people within the company? Also there is directors of the company but they dont speak with customers, the only people customers can talk to is sales assistants or his manager. Therefore if a company can take your money but when things go wrong, which is not the fault of the customer and refunds take way longer than they should the highest person you can talk to about it is a sales assistant and all the bosses hide and wont take phone calls.

WE bought some chests of drawers from Archers after spending a lot of time trying to find something the right size and look. The company seemed OK and we picked ready assembled (as we thought) better quality furniture. (ASC Hampton 3 Drawer Low Chest of Drawers ) When it turned up we realised that the drawers were very small. That prompted us to check the measurements against the online spec and they were a few cm smaller in every direction than the website stated. To make matters even worse the drawers are tiny compared to the front and the space available - very stupid design in my opinion. The quality is superficially only just OK and they look OK from accross the room. I bought rather than making our own this time and am regretting it. I tried contacting archers to complain that they are were not as per spec but heard nothing. We have given up the struggle and kept them but I will probably remake the drawer carcases as they are just to small to be useful. Should have doen it myslelf in the first place or gone somewhere we could measure the item rather than trusting a website. A very disappointing purchase and we would not go back.

The absolute worst company I have had the pleasure of dealing with. Bed was not delivered 3 times due to the cheap courier company they use. Archers told me that the courier was cheap and seemed to think it was fine to use them, even though they are causing damage to its reputation?? Great way to run your business. NOTE - WARNING MESSAGE CONFIRMING ARCHERS WRITING OWN REVIEWS - SAYS IT ALL REALLY!
