This is the second time we've stayed at Hunter's Quay for the February break and it's unlikely to be the last. The 2 bedroom Premium caravan was clean, comfortable, warm and spacious with just enough equipment in the kitchen to be able to cook there when not going out. The pool area was... a little brisk, but once in and swimming it was fine. The kids enjoyed the softplay area though some of the amusements were in poor repair but they managed. The food in the restaurant was nice and the staff were good... the only downside was the children's party/ meal that was on at dinner time with kids running riot round the tables. There were lots of other things to do that we didn't take advantage of as we wanted a relaxing break this time. you're unlikely to get bored.

We stayed in an Eagle Premier VIP lodge with hot tub it was amazing. We liked the way both bedrooms were ensuite and there was another bathroom downstairs. The resort is very remote and you struggle to get internet or phone signal - we actually really enjoyed this as it meant we all had a great time and didn't have our heads buried in our phones. There were a lot of activities for young and old and are looking in to coming back next year.

Have been on holiday several times to both Hunters Quay and Drimsynie over the last decade or so. Have seen the resorts develop and expanding adding to the overall holiday experience....the caravans are furnished and maintained to a high standard. Hopefully the log cabins have had the same standard. The new cabins with hot tub are highly recommended I have booked yet again for 3 day break in November .....the cabin is well furnished to a high standard, staff respond promptly to any issue which may arise occasionally......plenty of active and more leisurely activities on offer. Food in pub of a reasonable price and good quality.....again staff friendly and efficient. Looking forward to return trip in November.

We spent a lovely long weekend at Lochgoilhed with my wife her three brothers and their wives and her elderly parents. The cabins were brilliant especially the hot tubs! The weather was favourable and the scenery stunning. We were able to travel out each day and spend the nights together back at the cabins. Would highly recommend this site for a relaxing break

The holiday was great, it was my grandsons first time away and he loved it. We have been visiting both Drimsynie and Hunters Quay for the past 16 years. My only complaint would be the double beds really are the most uncomfortable. We usually sleep in the living room but will be back again in the summer with more grandchildren.

Stayed at Lochgoilhead for the third time, location is fantastic, stayed in the Premier Caravan twice, very comfortable and spacious, stayed in an Osprey Lodge once, again, very comfortable and spacious. Good activities for kids, great pool, great staff from reception right through to the activity coordinators. The bar area is ok but the quality of the food is terrible. On previous visits the food was ok at best, this visit it was terrible. Wrong orders were brought out the kitchen, some meals were so small (Lasagne) they were laughable, ordered takeaways one night, the first item came out the kitchen 20 minutes before the last, needless to say it was stone cold by the time we were back at the lodge. The lady in charge seemed to do nothing but apologise all night. Overall a great holiday, but due to the most recent experience of the dining I would be reluctant to return, you don't want to cook yourself every night on holiday.

Had a wonderful stay at Lochain Cottage on the Drimsynie Estate from 4th-8th April 2016. Perfect, relaxing holiday overlooking Loch Goil. The cottage was spacious and comfortable with beautiful views over the loch, enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. The cottage is on a working farm and it was lovely to watch the new lambs being taken into the field in front of the house. Many walks directly from the house which we enjoyed. The shop and Drimsynie hotel is only a short walk from the cottage. Had lunch at the hotel which was lovely. This cottage and surrounds had everything required for a perfect holiday. will definitely be returning.

Stayed at Loch Awe. Nothing to do in park itself, not even a place for a walk. Located beside a very busy road. At time of stay there was no where to eat out and no decent shop. There is a Spar but nowhere bigger except in Oban. However well placed for day trips - Oban, Inveraray etc. Cabin itself was lovely. Very clean, modern and well decorated. Hot tub excellent - used every night even in the rain! Again very clean and well maintained. Friendly, helpful site staff. Would definitely try another park, hopefully accommodation would be of a similar standard.

Great accommodation. We stayed in a caravan this time but have stayed in lodges over the last 12 years. Great setting, weather was in our favour. Entertainment for children ( February school holiday)okay but not as good as previous years and not many activities organised as before. Bit over prices but at the end of the day a fabulous place

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Caravan was very clean and of a high standard making it a good base to come back to each day. Great facilities on offer and having the swimming pool included in the price was a bonus. The landscape of the park means the true size of the site is hidden and it feels much more secluded than it is which adds to the relaxing atmosphere. Staff friendly and helpful. Beautiful location and we all said we'd love to come back!

Our weekend holiday was just what the doctor ordered. The right mix of quiet but always busy. Relaxation but constant. I always look forward to this weekend with my friends for many many years to come
