Touring pitch 6 had a pool of stagnant water and the area was infested with midges - at a time when midges were not a problem around the rest of the campsite.

I booked 3 caravans for the family. They were in excellent condition and the location ideal. The addition of a couple of essentials was welcome. The facilities were very good for the children especially soft play and swimming pool. Kids also enjoyed the shows but a bit disappointed that only one character appeared each night. Food was good but service very slow, at least a half hour wait whatever time of day. All in all we had a great holiday and would recommend Argyll Holidays.

The staff at Hunter's Quay were professional and only willing to help. The lodge was very good but the tv reception was inadequate. It did not spoil our holiday as we do not watch a TV but our guests did. What really annoyed me was that just before we came to Hunter's Quay I received an email stating discounts for holidays. Our lodge was half price. This really upset us because if we left it to the last minute we could have paid for a lodge with a hot tube for the same price!!!!

We had a lovely family holiday back in October. We were delighted with our lodge. It was was spotlessly clean and was very comfortable and warm. I was surprised how well equipped it was. The view from our lodge was just spectacular. Even on a wet and windy day the view didn't disappoint! The staff were very helpful and friendly. We went with our 2 boys 10 and 6 and there was a lovely playground for them which they loved. This isn't a big park with lots of activities, however that suited us. We would definitely return.

We had a lovely family break in May this year, this is our second visit to the park. It's a beautiful location and our accommodation (Tor Mhor Lodge) was perfect. Spotless and spacious with incredible views. The kids loved the play areas and the swimming pool. There's also a nice wee park and forest walk in the village that's good for kids. The only reason that I've given four stars instead of five is that the Rob Roy restaurant could be better. That quality of some of the food we ordered wasn't that great. I also want to add that I noticed a massive improvement in the staff and their customer service from my last visit. Everyone was very helpful and welcoming. And one of the team leaders (apologies I can't remember his name) made an effort to speak to everyone in the restaurant including my kids which I really appreciated. Will definitely be back! Hopefully soon!

We have visited Drumsynie Estate for the past 3 years and always enjoyed it very much. The views of the loch and hills are outstanding and when the tide is out, it's a lovely walk along the beach right over to Lochgoilhead, where you can find well signposted nature walks up into the hills. Very good activity programme for the kids, lots to keep them happy and occupied. The only down side is the bed in the lodge we stayed in (Premier Osprey) it was really old and uncomfortable, it felt well overdue to be replaced, we left a night early because it was so uncomfortable. It's a pity as this was the only downside, I cannot fault anything else about this estate or the lodge (very clean, spacious and well equipped).
