“Lovely setting. Caravan was modern and nicely decorated. Some free things for the children.”

“Unfortunately when we arrived to collect our keys and shown which was our chat within 20 minutes of arriving I was back upto the reception on opening the door we found it hadn't been properly cleaned dog hairs on skirting board fan not working in bathroom and door in bedroom not secure all these should have been checked before allowing guests in . Then to my horror when I switched the oven on I found that one of the hobs was on even though I hadn't switched it on to the extent that I could cook my bacon on it . Overall very disappointed with lack of checks of property”

“The people and the views 😍 was great break back to good old chating with the locals and children playing tag till dusk, rather than on their xbox. It's just a shame I can't seem to book to get back, as my dates are always booked. That just says how fabulous it is there guys.”

“Had a one week break here in February 2017. Loved every minute of it, including the snow. Check in staff were 5*. Caravan itself was excellent especially with gas central heating and looking out at the snow capped Arrochar Alps. Used it as a based and had an outstanding lunch at the original Loch Fyne Oyster Bar, 20mins drive away. Can highly recommend and will definitely be booking a winter break in 2018”

“Clean lodge with everything maintained to a high standard. Drinks at the three bars were a little over priced. Staff are very friendly and helpful.”

“Staff very helpful, above and beyond what expected. Very disappointed that we were unsble to use pool and other facilities due to conflicting advice from staff hope that this is addressed for our next visit!! Entertainment was good though personally I didn't enjoy the cabaretwas a bit in your face as we were eating in the bar area and the man was singing n dancing around us, not nice. Accommodation was brilliant couldn't fault it.”

“Heater not secured properly to wall, shower failed and fridge freezer was filthy. The management eventually remedied the issues, however the lodge pre inspection was dreadful. We have enjoyed many previous stays at this venue, but this holiday will be our last”

“Super accommodation, clean, comfortable, and spacious. Great wraparound balcony for the dog. Staff friendly and helpful. Pool prices are far too expensive and a complete rip off for what you get as whilst the pool area is functional it could do with a face lift and a good clean. We ended up buying a rovers pass which did not in the end offer us value for money as we did not use the pool facilities every day. Overall though we had a super time and would most likey come back.”

“Very impressed with the facilities for children. My two boys thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The setting and views are beautiful. We all tried archery and used the swimming pool. Also the entertainment for kids was good”

“We've been going for the past 4 years and most of time we enjoy it only an odd time that was let down with a few things but always go back as my grandkids love it wee enjoy to so always go back can't fault it for a break.”

“Standard of accommodation is good the guys said and appeared great when we checked it out, however, the lack of refund when needing to check out a full week early due to an unforeseen circumstance was completely unreasonable.”

“Well equipped chalet (although a bit short of kitchen utensils!) very warm and comfortable . Really good swimming pool and food menus seemed to be reasonably priced and varied. Local bus takes you into Dunoon and actually a lovely walk into the town . Would def recommend Hunters Quay as a destination . Staff very friendly .”
