“Received my MTO Fat Herbie this week. Natural shell exterior with reverse natural shell on the interior. The leather is beautiful and the craftsmanship is excellent. Stitching is clean and nicely done, and the imprints and other fine details are perfect as well. First time with this form factor and I like it a lot already. This wallet is half the thickness of my previous (bifold) wallet and is much more comfortable to carry. Looking forward to watching it break in and patina over time. Feels like it will last a lifetime. Matt and Phil were a pleasure to work with. Would gladly recommend Ashland Leather to anyone who values US craftsmanship and an appreciation for the uniqueness and beauty of shell cordovan”

“I recently purchased the Capone money clip in Brown Cypress leather and I am very happy with it. I bought this to replace a similarly designed minimalist wallet with disappointing leather. “I can tell how quality these belts are just in taking them out of the box. The feel and how well they politely hug the waist. And the box even had a wax seal with quality cloth bags around each belt. I can’t wait to review them in two years and report back about how durable they are.”
