“For many years I have been using minimalist wallets from Trayvax and others. I still like them but wanted a proper leather wallet. I’ve been watching Ashland Leather on Youtube and decided to get a Johnny the Fox wallet and it did not disappoint. It is very nice and I can’t wait to develop a nice patina on it.”

“I'm really pleased with my new Fat Herbie wallet. The leather's nice. It holds the 8 cards & IDs that I carry regularly (plus a little cash) without being too thick. It's large but fits just fine in my jeans pocket. I'm also happy that I can support a small business in Chicago!”

“I purchased a vertical Bugs Moran . Black of course . Arrived in a nice package . It is exactly what I wanted . I am very happy with the quality of the wallet . Definitely will purchase more later in the year . The one I wanted was not listed . Wrote a email to the owner. He was able to find one for me . Excellent customer service . Thanks again . I used to live down the street from where they processed leather on Ashland ave by Clybourne . Live in fl now .”

“Quality of wallet as with others I’ve purchased from Ashland leather is great and I’m sure this wallet will stand the test of time. Having had a chance to compare the english tan dublin Herbie against my older shell cordovan herbie I have to say that I prefer the shell cordovan but am still very happy with my purchase of the english tan. The english tan appears to be more pliable with a waxier feel to it when compared to the stiffer shell cordovan. The english tam does appear to be slightly thinner in thickness as well. I believe the english tan will develop a more pronounced patina than the shell cordovan and sooner too however this is just a guess on my mind. Anyways hope this helps! Both are great wallets just prefer the shell cordovan if i could only buy one. :)”

“Hi Ashland Team, I really enjoyed the process of custom designing my Vertical Tony the Ant Wallet. Matt was responsive and friendly, and I know I got the wallet I had been dreaming about. If I had to pick one criticism it's that the hand stitching thread chosen is a bit thick/chunky, which while I like better than the thin machine stitching, is almost a little disproportionally thick for a delicate and classy leather like Cordovan. That said, I know this will be a wallet I enjoy for many, many years! Also, I have to say, the design of the Tony the Ant is just super cool and unique - unlike any other wallet I've ever seen. Thanks Matt and Phil!”
