“It is terrible company, they canceled my service and would not let me use my phone number for another company. The customer service representatives tell you that everything is done, but in reality they don't do nothing and you have to call them again and again and wast your time. I would not give them even one star and definitely not recommend this company to anyone”
“I have been a loyal customer for a good while. The screen on my phone cracked. I called and asked if I could get another phone. I was told no but I could go out and buy a new phone and they would hook it up. I am 75 and on a fixed budget. That was one of the reasons I was using assurance. The person was rude and the only thing he could say was they had a policy they had to go by and he would not go by anything else. Maybe I need to look into other programs.”

“Well my account was topped off 7/17/24 and on the 24th of July my service was interrupted, well they claimed some stole my info and turned on service with another carrier. It was a barefaced lie! They issued me a number to another address showing me with 2 phone lines. I got confirmation from the 'verifier ' that the mistakes was theirs!! So, they shutdown my service and wanted me to re-apply. I spoke to 7 customer service reps and they all told me something different, over talked me not hearing what I was saying!! This is the second time they've done this!! They try to talk you up for a good review and once it's done.you later find out! No order was put in and you're being told something else! So I'm requesting that all my info be deleted from their systems!! Don't use this service!! Reps lie like a RUG!!”

“I received a phone from Assurance Wireless, but did not activate it and called for authorization to return the phone. I was approved to return the phone, I was given a case number, and I was told I had to wait for a return label to use to return the phone for refund. I was told I would receive the return label in 7-10 business days. It has been 10+ days and I have not received the return label. I called them back after many attempts to speak with a person and requested they refund my $79.99. I was told the return was "under review". They could have provided a courtesy call to explain the delay, but instead I had to make multiple calls to them. Do NOT purchase an Assurance phone. It will cause you much stress and many headaches. Once they receive your money they are done with you.”
“i went online to do application on june 17, i called around june 28 see where my phone is , they say i have no account. but i have account they using my personal info for another as with last year, i still have letters from assurance wireless and i did not have their service, but they are keeping my personal info, what do i do? file a complaint? that's is what i am going to do as of thid date file complaint with the ftc, and fcc. not recommend. this is a very poor service out of california.and outside usa phillipines”
“This company gave me a wiko phone a cheap $5 phone made in China. I've had this phone for about three years now with several malfunctioning issues and in 2023 I called assurance wireless because the phone had stop working completely so the representative did a hard reset so it would work and it did, okay July 2024 the phone won't charge even after I went out and bought two different chargers so I called assurance wireless to see if they would send me out a new replacement phone and the chinese representative could hardly speak clear enough English and she told me that unfortunately she couldn't send me a replacement phone and that I had to buy my own phone or use an old phone that I might have around the house and that they would transfer my assurance phone number to to it and set everything up over the phone. I asked the representative if they still replaced the assurance phones and she told me no you have to provide your own phone now because that's the way it is now, my thing is this if customers have to go out and buy their own phone now what's the purpose of assurance wireless program because if people were able to afford to go out and buy a new phone well hell then they wouldn't need asurrance wireless.”

“My phone was broken over a week ago. I have had to call in 4 different times because their website does not offer to make a model on my phone. They denied the claim. Because I could not give them the proper make and model even though it's their website's issue. It has taken now 2 different phone calls and 6 different people to get this finally updated properly supposedly. And now I'm supposed to wait another 2 to 3 business days to hear back whether or not it's actually going to go throughto And the kicker is there's 0 repercussion. There is nothing that I can do to cause this company any repercussion for their poor customer service. Aside from come on here and file a bad review, I do not know anyone to speak to over all of the mishandling of an insurance claim that I have. Encountered with this one problem and the sad part is. I've been paying insurance to these people for I know well over 3 years on probably at least 4 phones most of that time and recently had put insurance on all the phones on my plan. And this is the very first time i've ever had to have a Claim filed”

The first thing is they don't do a one only upgraded nor will they replace a phone that has a cracked screen even though there are technically defaults: Overheats, freezes kicks you out of apps or researching. But the number one thing is connecting to your family who has iPhones. I can message on google messaging and Messenger. However, I can not receive their messages or phone calls unless it's on Messenger. They say their carrier is T-mobile however while I was researching on why I found where T-Mobile does allow iMesaging where assurance doesn't. It has been a real problem between my family, care provider, and Drs and I.”
“I have no signal in Adair county ky and or Casey county ky. I literally have to walk around outside to find a signal and this is 2024. What the hell is technology doing these days? It’s very frustrating because I switched from SafeLink and I had much better service with them. “Shortly after getting my phone it went missing. I called right away. I was told to email a copy of police report to get a replacement, which I did. This was a month ago. I've followed up several times because I still haven't received it. Yesterday I was told something totally different, that I had to pay for the replacement. I have no phone and live alone. I have to go to someone's house to call them. Why wasn't I given this answer a month ago! No excuse for this level of incompetence. Furious!”
