“I have already witten a review, but here it is again. THe rooms very spacious and very clean. Your restaurant staff most unpleasant, and the food needs some improvement. The young man Dustin, was absolutely awesome!!!!!
My husband & I felt we would have liked to spend more time in Scotland and plan to return. I would stay again. Hopefully the food will improve by next spring!!

“The hotel is a short distance from the heart of Dumfries, set in lovely grounds. It's a shame they don't allow dogs as it they are perfect for a quick walk in the morning/evening. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the meals excellent. I was surprised by how quiet my room was for a large hotel and overall had a very comfortable stay.”

“Very nice hotel, combination old part for general things and a modern part fot rooms. Very friendly staff. But giving 5 is mayby just a bit to much, if it should be very busy in the hotel the old part is too small to enjoy the facilities. But I should recommend.”
