“I bought a QTX QR15PA 250W Portable PA System W/ 2 Radio Mics & MP3 Player. Initially, I was thinking of the 12PA system but decided on the more powerful system after taking with Steve at Astounded. He was extremely helpful and non-pushy. I also bought a Pulse PA speaker stand. Both were delivered the next day, in time for an open air rally on climate change. They did the job at a very reasonable price. I'd definitely return to Astounded to buy more gear. First class service, products and prices.”

“I ordered the QTX amp that came with two wireless microphones and two additional inputs for either a guitar and another microphone. I had read the information on the site and a few reviews and thought it was ideal. The item arrived quickly and well packaged. The microphones were supplied with two heavy duty 9v batteries (they only lasted one hour on first use) Trying it for the first time on 28th February the mics were clear and when music was played on its own, it sounded great. Unfortunately when using the microphones at the same time as music is playing the music cuts out. So, as a PA for giving presentations it's great. But if you want to speak or sing with the music (which was what we wanted it for) this is not the right model. I have been told by a professional musician who on seeing it ask why I didn't by the next size up an 18" as he immediately knew this problem would occur in seeing the item. ***Since this review Astounded contacted me directly and pointed out a small switch which is hidden amongst the inputs so discreetly I never knew it was there that once flicked resolved the issues of mics cutting out, so 10 out of 10 for customer service, going above and beyond! ***”

Hi Victoria, Thanks for leaving a review! However, I'm sorry to hear of the difficulties you're having with the music level dropping when using the microphones. The good news is this is probably easily resolved by switching off the 'VCV' switch (located above jack mic sockets on the back panel), which is specifically designed to do this when the mics are used. “Being a novice to the PA world I phoned Astounded for advice on a particular piece of kit I was thinking to buy. I found the chap on the other end of the phone very helpful and his suggestions as what I did and didn't need, prompted me to order, which turned out to be 'the right tool for the job' ! He took my order over the phone, and the goods arrived the following day by lunchtime ! ...at I may add, an exceptionally good price....! I'll certainly use this company again, Ken. Cumbria”
