They decided to conveniently charge me again in a few weeks claiming I purchased the book on a "pass". I never signed up for anything like that nor did I authorise to be signed up for such a thing. I will be raising a dispute with my bank as this is a fraudulent charge.”

“Worst app ever for audiobooks. Books are overpriced as compared to audible and audiobooks. They deduct money monthly from your account but you don’t get a book- they claim it’s for discounts but it’s made redundant by the fact that even with said discounts their books are more expensive. I have been trying to get a refund to no avail. I strongly warn people against using this book store.”

“These people are criminals. Purchased one book then they started charging me every month. I did not authorize this charge. Customer service doesn’t exist. You message on the app no body gets back. I email them they say the email is not on record I provide proof that the email I provided is the one on my app. They can’t find it. I show proof of the money coming out of my account they can’t find it. You can’t cancel a subscription you never authorized. Then when I became frustrated they said my tone was unacceptable and stopped responding to my emails. I’ve contacted consumer affairs and lodged a complaint and I had to cancel my card. Absolute nightmare. Do not use these horrible American people.”

“So many red flags after talking to customer service! I ordered 1 book from this company. I was barely able to finish it. Download speed was incredibly slow and the app is full of glitches. I also thought it was a 1 time charge. Little did I know that my account was being charged monthly. When I contacted customer service for help, their line was set up to automatically go to voice-mail. I did not receive a call back. Then I emailed. Over 10 times I emailed. It doesn't matter if you are satisfied. It doesn't even matter if you have been using the product or not. There are no refunds from this company. Only emply apologies and attitude. On top of that the "customer service line" blocked my number, and the person who was emailing with me magically got promoted to manager during our email chain!”
“Their discount cost me 3 times as much while using a secured credit card. Trying to figure out how they recharged my card with a revolving Security Pin???? I wished I could rate in the negative but the only choice is at least one star to show a rating - do not fall for their so call best price - it will cost you when you cannot cancel in their app & have to log into their website - reputable firms have greater visibility & accessibility in their apps than on their website for security & safety reasons!
