"I recently went through with sending my songs to Audio Mixing Mastering for the Advanced Mix and Master of 2 of my tracks. I\u2019d like to share my experience with this company to hopefully help emerging\/amateur artists in the future who may not know what they are getting into. \r\n\r\nI\u2019d like to state right off the bat that communication between the company was great and they responded to my emails within a day every single time. Sadly though, this was the only bright side of my experience. \r\n\r\nAt first it was great, I paid for the service, sent out the stems of my tracks to them through \u2018WeTransfer\u2019, had all of my tracks labeled and some detailed even further, as well as left all of my notes for the songs in the notes section that they recommend you write in. I even had to add some more notes a day later and this was no problem at all for them. \r\n\r\nThe issues came when they sent out the actual product. About 5 days later the mix AND master were sent to us. I was confused as to why they would not send us the mix first and ask us if it needed revisions before they went ahead and mastered the tracks. \r\n\r\nRight after listening to the tracks I realized I had made a huge mistake, the product was unprofessional and not even close to \u201cradio ready\u201d as they claim. The songs were over compressed and extremely flat. It seemed as if they had not even read my notes as half of them were not even listened to or implemented. One of the 2 songs was ear piercing, as they had the main vocals and background vocals at close to the same volume, creating a phase\/chorus effect throughout the whole song which sounded dreadful.\r\n\r\nAfter realizing I had been taken advantage of for my money, I immediately emailed them asking for reimbursement as I was upset with the unsatisfactory product. They responded saying to send in detailed notes and that they wanted to make me satisfied with the final results. I did not want to waste anymore time with this company. I continued to email them back and forth a few more times, pleading and showing my frustration to have them stop all remaining processes and reimburse my money, or even half of it, as I understand that everyones time is valuable. \r\n\r\nThey said that everything is fixable and to just give them more detailed notes and that they would fix everything in 24 hours or less. I believe at this point they wanted to keep milking this out instead of complying with my request or just ending it there, so that they can say \u201chey we did revisions and a lot of work\u201d. With no other options I was forced to agree and give them even more detailed notes to hopefully fix our songs. Less than 24 hours later we received the new revision. \r\n\r\nThe new revision not only made the songs worse, but they STILL ignored some of the notes given. It sounded as if they had basically turned a few volume knobs and then slapped the exact same master back on the track. I had finally had enough and emailed them that our business is over. They continued to email back trying to do another revision and fix it, but I was past the point of them wasting my time. They sent another emailing asking if I will take free mastering services as compensation. I responded yet again explaining that we no longer wished to work with this company and if they would not agree to my request of reimbursement then our business was finished. They finally stopped responding. \r\n\r\nIt states on their website \u201cwe do not issue refunds once an order has been placed\u201d so once you pay, you are trapped. Even if you haven\u2019t sent your song(s) in yet they will NOT issue a refund according to this. Knowing this, I still tried my best to receive reimbursement because this was an awful way to lose money on a product that is non professional and unusable. \r\n\r\nI hope that this may help others in the future to not go through what we had to go through. After sending the finished product to multiple music engineers to get their feedback, most of them told me they were not good quality at all. It is very unfortunate and I can confidently say we will not be working with Audio Mixing Mastering in the future.\r\n\r\nTL\/DR : They had good communication, but that doesn\u2019t make up for the unprofessional quality finished product. Company traps you with a no refund policy even if you haven\u2019t submitted the song(s) yet. They continue to waste your time with revisions that barely change anything. Emerging\/Amateur artists beware."
