Peter, We really appreciate you taking the time to reach out to share your feedback. We're always more than happy to assist our customers before they purchase any of our items as well as address their questions or concerns after. You are correct. Our products are filled by weight not volume. A can of strawberries for example will contain less product than a can of whole egg powder. The visual when placing these items next to each other can indeed cause people to feel that they've been shorted or that the product was under-filled when that isn't the case. The decision to discontinue our smaller everyday size cans was made in 2017. By switching to one size of can we were able to save on our manufacturing costs as well as create a more efficient manufacturing line. These savings are then passed on to our customers in the form of low prices and this more efficient manufacturing line allows for us to keep more product in-stock. As for the oxygen absorber, we put 2-200cc oxygen absorbers in our cans which is he recommenced size for a container of this size. It is designed to absorb all of the oxygen inside regardless of the amount of product. “Great Value for long term storage at a reasonable price compared to other brands I have purchased. Prefer the sealed cans with lids over any sealed bag types since keep chewing pest out of product during long term storage. And if kept at cooler temperatures, canned eggs will keep longer than 10 years safely. Just remember that these are whole powdered eggs and not fresh eggs when your eating them, nothing will never taste as good as fresh eggs, but better than nothing at all when in a emergency and your hungry.”

“I made my first purchase with Auguson Farms and got the whole eggs cans. The eggs cooked like rubber and smelled funny. I tried to cook them like scrambled eggs, so maybe that was my mistake, but they still did not taste very good. Anyway, I am disappointed with my purchase because I was hoping they would be more fluffy instead of rubbery.”

“Bought for long term storage. I choose this flavor as it is a dish I would normally serve my family. Hopefully I will not have to use it but it's a good choice to have just in case”
