“My new favourite FLY shop! Aussie Angler is an amazing shop! I had spoke to Jo on the phone at length and when I finally made it to Melbourne, I literally said “wow I love this shop!” when I walked in the door. Enormous selection of gear and gadgets too, I love gadgets. The owner and staff were helpful and friendly and extremely knowledgeable and professional and there to help, not over sell. I bought wafers and Rick was incredibly patient and thorough in helping me get the right fit and style for me. Also sharing his learning Re waders and their care over the years … which was extremely enlightening, I would have made all the mistakes he did as a rookie … now I don’t have to learn by my own mistakes. I will definitely be back. These guys and girls certainly know their fishing!!! And most of all … it was loads of fun! My only negative … is that they are in Melbourne and I live in Perth … but I will Pop in when I am there and there is a huge selection in their online shop … the people in the shop though are what make it truly fabulous … so I highly recommend going in in person if you can. Ursula”
