Avoid!! Will try and squeeze every last penny out of you, when you try and cancel the policy after one day they want to charge you £59!! Disgraceful! Avoid!

By far the worst insurance company I have dealt with. Beware of the excessive charges to Ammend or cancel a policy.

Rang today (14/03/19) to add my 24 yr old daughter to my policy so she can learn to drive but was point blankly refused as shes only on a provisional licence. How utterly stupid, if you cant afford to pay a driving school how else is she supposed to learn. Will NOT be renewing and wont recommend

As such, we have looked into this for you. As Autonet are an insurance broker, we work with various underwriters who have different rating factors which affect the prices they are able to offer and the risks they choose to cover. In this case, the underwriter that you were placed with did not provide cover for provisional drivers. From looking at the notes on file, I can see our agent offered you our cancel and replace option to see if we could place you with an underwriter who would accept a provisional license. Total Scammers, they DO NOT Honour their cash back offers on Topcashback. After a 9 month wait they responded to Topcashback saying no record of sale. So they are Liars or the £52.21 they took when I purchased my home Insurance was fraudulent. AVOID use an honest Insurance Company

If there was a No start option it would be clicked. Never use! Went via Gocompare. Information wasn't transfered over correctly. I was told i had to pay over £300 additional premium after taking out insurance and paying deposit. They claimed i was in 2 accidents despite the no claims bonus sent over with proof of 1. They explained i hadnt made them aware of my points which i had. They then used the excuse i was 1 month out to the date exactly on my Sp30 and this was going to cost me £190. I explained this was clearly an accident. No remorse and to cancel they would take 50% of my deposit if not more and any money i had paid up until then on my monthly payment. Either way i would be out of pocket. Checked go compare again quote came out £100 cheaper but i would have to pay to cancel my policy. In total 2 hours on the phone, hung up on a number of time and also when they said they would call me back they never did. I had to chase this issue myself. Waist of my time and money and i still have to remain with this insurer. Never been this disappointed in insurance provided before.

Threatened with cancellation of policy due to '3 claims on database' after speaking to another insurance company found there to be only 2 claims on database. Very poor customer service, told I would be called back with regards to cancellation but never was, told they hadn't received my emails but they clearly had as I received an automatic response email confirming they had received it!!!! Alternate quotes with them were astronomical, gone with other company!!!

I would not use this insurance. They settled a claim against me even although I had a witness clearly stating that I was not at fault. They only told me they had settled after the event. They then proceeded to try to renew my policy for almost 3 times the original quote.

take out insurance on 30th january, pay in full £211.09, cancel policy today 25th fabruary & get told only £50 is refundable. comical at best, if any one would like proof let me know. avoid avoid avoid

I had two policy's two vehicle's with autonet sold one vehicle stopped policy for one, did not get refund that i was due.

If it wasn’t the only insurance I could find that offered motorbility clients insurance then I wouldn’t have gone with this company!! I won’t be reinsuring with this company next year !

There should be a zero rating - just so you know this company rips off people when they have to cancel their insurance .... my insurance cost me £275 and when I cancelled 3 months later I got back £75 so that's equivalent to over £800 pa prorata ... that's disgusting !! I have another policy with them and rest assured I will not be using Autonet insurance again !! I suggest you stear clear !!

I phoned to cancel the policy I bought online within 14 days, due to it not including the " driving other cars" extension. I thought there was a 14 day cooling off period to cancel within. I was told there is still a cancellation fee to pay. Thieves!

I have been advised by Carly to briefly summarise on my experience, I was a pay monthly customer into my second year of insurance renewal but unfortunately 2 months into the policy my car was beyond economical repair and worth pennies . All my £35 per month premiums were up to date and at the point of cancellation I was ordered to pay £108 and so many pence! I was outraged as this amounts over an additional 3 months worth of premium!! I have never experienced these kind of charges with other insurers in the 20 years I have been driving!! At the most it was an additional months payment which I'd expect but the fees I paid to Auotnet today are ridiculous and unreasonable. Should I have known this prior to my vehicle failure I would not have renewed the policy. Chris

Absolute rip off, told me the had to cancel my insurance then to plant machinery being installed then charged me £86 cancellation fee Con artist's advise you avoid
