Dear Mr Jones, Thank you very much for taking the time to get in touch. When a policy is purchased, it is a twelve month policy that includes the cost of setting up and administering the policy. If the policy is cancelled before the end of the 12 month term, cancellation charges do apply. These are explained before the policy is purchased and are made to cover the costs incurred to Autonet. “I have used Autonet insurance to insure my work van for many years. I have always found there service to be extremely professional, helpful, for any request I have asked and a great customer focus service. Throughout there different departments, the staff are helpful and very pleasant in manner. Over all, a great company to be insured by. I'v dealt with allot of insurance companies in the past, Autonet insurance are in a league of there own.”

“Just renewed my policy for the third year , first drawn by a very competitive quote and introductory start , this being a second vehicle . At renewal given plenty of notice and reminders so as not to overlook the date. very happy with autonet insurance.”

“For the last 20+ years I have been driving a company car so have not had to worry about insurance. Autonet has made getting back easy and stress free. “Easy process online, good price. Only down side, treat you like a liar until you can prove in great detail that the no claims bonus you have are true. Surely in this day & age the insurance community would be able to check amongst themselves what your no claims bonus is.”

Some of the insurers that we work with do request that copies of no claims bonus are kept on file. At the moment, there is no industry wide database to share this information. When customers provide this information, it helps us to reduce fraud across the industry. Kind regards Nicola

“This is the third year I have returned to Autonet and insured my Mercedes even though there have been cheaper options on Confused.com. Frankly my confidence in their service out ways what little I can save with another provider. The staff at Autonet are courteous and friendly and lead you through the process ensuring you are completely satisfied with your new policy. “I certainly am not going to win an i.Pad off you with my review. We bought replacement vehicle 10 days ago and it took us about 1 1/2 hours of our time simply to give the new details of the vehicle and to delete the old ones. ALL our personal details were the same, and you asked us THREE times, all the details about ourselves and the vehicle, whilst we were even on the garage's own line! The insurance premium went up, which was strange when we got ourselves a newer vehicle and it didn't have any exhaust emissions like the old one - all in all, we won't be using you next year!”

When an insurance policy is purchased, it is based on the information available at the time. If this information changes, such as having a new vehicle, this may impact on the price. Unfortunately, the exhaust emissions do not affect the rating of the insurance, however, things such as the year of make and the value of the vehicle to impact on the price. Sometimes, we are able to offer an mid term update to the policy, however on this occasion, it worked out around £40 cheaper for us to set up a new policy for you instead. We apologise if this took longer than expected, but we are looking into the process and time taken for this type of transaction. Also, in terms of your review, all comments are entered into our competition equally and a winner is drawn at random. The draw will be made later this week.
