“Although it was still the cheapest quotation, the quote has change in a matter of 2 hours up with £25. The server it must have noticed that I came back and upped the cost with no other modifications. Disgusting, but still the cheapest quote.”

“Mixed bag. The renewal quote was seriously uncompetitive which prompted me to shop around and it was only when I came back to them to tell them I had a better quote from another company and that I wanted to cancel my cover that they dropped the price to an acceptable level (seriously, why do insurance companies do this, just BE HONEST please, it isn't rocket science!). I've stayed with them because the cover is slightly better tailored to my individual needs (the one real advantage that this company offers) but they are going to have to up their game to retain my business next year. Also, singularly unimpressed that you can ONLY advise of a non-renewal via a phone line that takes an age to put you through to an actual person and that advertises three completely different sets of opening hours, none of which turned out to be correct. I got through to the rival insurer instantly to say I wasn't going to go ahead with the policy and it was cancelled in less than a minute, so Autonet have some serious catching up to do here.”
