Hi John, Thank you for taking the time to get in touch. When a policy is purchased, it is a 12 month policy based on the information available at the time. If any of the information changes, such as a change of vehicle, the insurer will re-evaluate the price based on the new details. “This was the cheapest insurance on comparethemarket.com and as the vehicle is only worth £500 only needed the cheapest although this included legal protection and a reasonable excess. I completed the order online. Documents arrived by email. All very simples.”
