“The process was quick and efficient. Unfortunately, I made a mistake in entering my birth year (1945, should have been 1943). Auto net spotted the error and called me. I was surprised at the size of the increase on correction of the error. I was passed backwards and forwards several times between Sales and Admin, and everyone tried to sell me legal cover that I didn't want. I would have rated excellent on the initial process, fairly good thereafter.”

“Too many documents and personal information needed that took time to send. Autonet cancelled my car insurance without even an email or letter to let me know in advance. Very disappointing and your data protection should be looked to make sure it is robust with all that personal information.”

“Your were unable to clarify my no claims so cancelled my policy! Charged me for the pleasure and then re-instated my policy. More money. We all know all systems are linked as multiple companies use the same underwriters! and share this 'confidential' information so not getting access to it was ludicrous in the first place! Only still with 'Autonet' as I have been charged so much and to leave would have affected me getting insurance somewhere else! awful service.”

Hi Keith, Thank you very much for your comments and taking the time to get in touch. We have looked at your comments and can see that your original policy was cancelled as there were two incidents that we were originally unaware of. As explained in our terms of business, cancellation charges are applied if a policy is cancelled. In relation to your comments about an industry linked system; unfortunately there is not one available at the moment for no claims bonus. This is being worked on and will be useful for all parties. In the mean time, we do need the details from your previous insurer, so that we can confirm the no claims bonus that you have. Kind regards Nicola
