After a 'no fault' accident I needed a courtesy car. My insurance chose auxillis. I was very clear that I must have a car to get my son to school - around 2 mile each way and for work. I'm a sales person some days of the week and need to transport stock. They agreed the days and said someone would be in touch to arrange delivery time. I therefore arranged those dates for my car to go to the garage for repair. They rang me as I was rushing out to get my son to school so I asked them to call me back. They didn't call. I rang several times through the local office the main office, even through my insurance company. Finally they got back to me on the day I was supposed to have my car telling me that they could deliver it the following afternoon between 12 and 5. I was therefore left trying to organise lifts to take my son to and from school for two days and I had to lose a day's work with no transport. A nightmare experience and if ever I have this happen again I would insist on a hire car from the repairers but never from auxillis.

Encouraged to use Auxillis by admiral. Dreadful experience. First representative dropped the call and then didn’t call back. Called Auxillis - on hold for over 15 mins. Called Admiral who put me back through. Told they couldn’t help as I didn’t have a claim reference number from first call (which they ended!!). Now back with Admiral. If given option, avoid this company at all costs. Truly awful

Cant give anything less than 1 star. Awful service. They kept cutting me off on phone calls, also they don`t answer the phone, waiting time is 20 to 40 min`s with that god awful music. I was without a car after a non fault accident, 1st call, they could not find my details after my ins set it to them, after they did was told an agent would phone back. 12 hrs later I called them, and again they have no details. Finally after completing the "paperwork". I was then told they do not know when they can get a car to me. Thier excuse was "due the the current situation". And according to their website, they have over 10k+ cars in stock. I found later the garage that was doing the repairs said they could get me a car the next day to help me out as my partner was ill with cancer and had an appointment in the afternoon. I did mention this to this so called company, but they didn`t care after their cockup. Dont deal with this company, they are not professional and don`t put their customers first. So far with this company I have estimated I have wasted 4 hours of my life sitting on the phone waiting for them to pick up.

One month since my husband’s accident we have received no car. A car was arranged for us 2 weeks ago and mysteriously cancelled at 4:50pm. We have had no explanation or contact from Auxillis despite contacting them twice and going through our insurance company. Absolutely disgusting!

Simplyterrible customer service. Failed delivery, I’ve had to chase them all the time and can never go hold of anyone. Wasted hours of time with this company.

Almost impossible to get hold of and drag their heels because the longer your car is out of action, the more they make from third party insurers on hire car charges and other unjustifiable fees.

Hard to get a hold of, always on the phone 10mins before they answer. Called over 10 time to sort booking a replacement vehicle out. When finally sorted they sent me a mini bus. Had to go through it all again. Waste of my time

Car delivered two days late. Staff were rude and blaming each other. When I left negative feedback with my insurer, they put a claim in for damage. Avoid if possible. If your insurer mentions Auxillis, request another provider. Unprofessional and fraudulent.

A very disappointing experience. I had a no-fault accident on the 1st of August this year when I was rear ended by another vehicle when I was stationary in traffic. My vehicle had only covered 30,000 miles and at the time of the accident, had just been serviced and had new brakes under warranty less than 12 months before the accident. My insurer referred me to Auxillis to handle my claim. Auxillis Were initially very helpful however things tailed off quickly. I was the one who had to chase time and time again to find out updates on my vehicle repair. After two months and very little communication from either Auxillis or their repair centre, they phoned me to tell me the vehicle was ready. I collected the vehicle and drove 500 yards up the road with my nine-year-old son in the car when the brakes failed. I challenged Auxillis over this issue and they said they couldn’t identify that the brake failure was a result of the accident. Further investigation revealed they knew full well about the faulty brakes before returning the vehicle to me and still allowed me to leave the repair centre with a nine-year-old child in a vehicle with faulty brakes, which (having checked with the police) would not be classified as roadworthy. I have clear evidence the engineer signed off my repairs and then nearly a month later the repair centre sent my car to a main dealer to have the brakes investigated (so they either knew of the fault at the time the engineer ‘approved’ my repairs or the repair centre themselves damaged my brakes after the engineer signed off ‘all repairs). The VW main dealer only partially investigated and recommended to Auxillis that further (costly) investigations were required to establish the full cause of the failure, which they did not proceed. Instead the Auxillis repair centre ignored the issues with the brakes, returned my car to me assuring me that it was in perfect working order and allowed me to drive away. They provided me with no paperwork at the time warning me of the brake issue and it was only after I complained they admitted to knowing the issues with my brakes before they returned the vehicle to me, at no point making any effort to rectify the problem. Over a month (on top of the two months I’d already waited for my car) back and forward with Auxillis and they refused to accept any liability for the brake issue despite the fact there was no brake issue prior to the accident (which happened when I was returning from a climbing weekend in the lakes, had there been an issue with the brakes this would have been obvious in terrain like the Lake District). As a direct result of Auxillis I have been hit with a £500 bill for the brake repair on my vehicle and I’ve had no genuine apology and no recognition they should never have allowed me to leave their repair centre with a vehicle that was not roadworthy let alone leave with my nine-year-old son in the vehicle. In summary very disappointing experience and I would not recommend this company to anyone. They took over two months to do the initial repair, which was a broken rear bumper and light rear end damage on my car. I then had their hire car for a further month whilst they ‘investigated’ the issue with my brakes. Their communication was nothing short of shambolic throughout and they returned my vehicle with damaged brakes, which were working perfectly before the accident. Further more and most importantly they allowed me to leave their repair centre with a child in a vehicle with faulty brakes which was not roadworthy. There is simply no way they can justify this and I’m now left with no choice but to take further independent action. Auxillis have ‘investigated’ it ‘thoroughly’ and refuse to accept any liability for either the brakes or returning a vehicle to me that was not roadworthy. Their letter to me was utterly dismissive and made no real effort to rectify or genuinely apologise for their string of failures. Ultimately my accident was not my fault yet the service I have received from Auxillis (and to be frank my own insurer, Admiral, who refuse to accept any liability and just refer me back to Auxillis) has left me with a £500 bill and a scared child, who sat next to me and watched our car dashboard light up with warning lights as the brakes failed less than 5 minutes after collecting our car. I run an organisation which serves over 20000 customers a year, I would be utterly ashamed if my business conducted itself in the way Auxillis have treated me and my family.

If I could give a zero, I would. Service from Auxillis was rude ("do it yourself" I was told at one point) and unhelpful. They like to do things on the phone - overwhelming you with information and "small print". Car was eventually repaired (at a garage an hour away) - taken away 7 weeks after the accident. Had to have a hire car - brought in from over an hour away! I live in Somerset...with good local garages - one being within walking distance. The garage selected by Auxillis wouldn't answer the phone - taking over 10 days to assess the damage. 7 months after completion, the whole story has suddenly opened up - as, perhaps unsurprising (in hind sight), the 3rd party insurers will not pay the full claim. No wonder when Auxillis wouldn't use any local garage or hire company! Auxillis have asked for permission to look at my financial statements - why?? I have declined that request. Now I being asked to remember details that happened on specific days during the car hire...why?? Clearly, Auxillis are looking to get money from anyone they can - and have me in "their sights"! Remember this was a no fault accident (someone backed into my car when parked). Stay clear of Auxills - they are like the 'jump scares' in a movie. How did I end up with using Auxillis? My insurance company (Admiral) recommended using them. Clearly, not having had accidents over the past 20+ years places you at a disadvantage - these companies are playing for their own benefit, not yours!

Really stressful feels like they just want to make money out of you especially with their ‘credit hire’ agreement. Feels like a bit of a money making racket

Worst company ever. Didn't bring a like for like replacement van and when questioned about it was told they didn't have one available, so didn't have a van for the whole of the time taken to repair my van. Garage who did the repair was brilliant, shame the rest of the service wasn't the same.

Very poor service. I talked a week about my windshield, which was a small chip, after the accident it was all cracked and they said that it will not be replaced just by this chip What is absurd, they treat you as if it was your fault, and after a week I gave up. I'm afraid for the rest of the repairs, we'll see how it will be, but it does not look good, I do not recommend it to anyone. I do not know what the Admiral cooperates for and recommends Auxillis to help after an accident, as they really do not help anything but to make it better for them, the client is not important.

Gentelman asked me what vehicle I need, which I said multiple times I need LONG wheel base, gentelman said he highlighted it and it definitely will be long wheel base, as other companies couldnt arrange it. The vehicle arrived at my bodyshop, paperwork dropped in the office and vehicle ready for me to pick up. I came in and saw it was a smallest van you can get, volksvagen transporter, as it wasnt the van I need in order to make money (I work as a courier) I tried to call the company to swap it with the LONG wheel base which I requested multiple times on the phone, to make sure it will be a LONG wheelbase van. After 100 phone calls a day to a branch which NEVER PICKED UP (even with recorded voicemail with my reference number asking them to contact me back urgently), emails send to both of their emails hire(at)auxillis and Hayley.Lisle(at)auxillis, I received totally NOTHING, not even a word, not a phonecall.. After couple of days I received an email that they have collected the vehicle and WILL DEDUCT THE MONEY FROM the THIRD PARTY. Guys.. I DIDNT EVEN USE THAT VAN, you gonna charge someone for it? I had to use different van from different company and I will charge the third party for it, NOT YOU. So dont even dare asking them for ANYTHING before you contact me and speak to me DIRECTLY. For now I will make sure I will get someone from your company contacting me and explaining why I couldn't get hold of you, why you provided such a terrible service and how you going to resolve this. Im looking forward to FINALLY getting any form of contact from you, of course if you even have someone who can call me or write email, because as for now, I doubt that.
