Barclay is very unorganized. They are not helpful at all and the manager is very rude on the phone.

After being a Barclays customer for more than 50 years, I was dismayed to learn that my local branch was closing, At first, this was just an inconvenience as there was another branch with ATM less than 10 mies away. It then transpired the Barclays closed all there branches in the largest county in Wales, leaving the nearest branch 40 miles distant in Hereford, England. Barclays, advised a switch to computer/telephone banking, which in this area is frought with problems such as intermitent & slow broadband and no mobile phone signal. Today I received an offer of improved efficiency of my account ussing their app. However, when I phoned to complain, I was informed that I could onlt make a complaint via an App. No point in contacting the Ombudsman as it is imposible to complete the complaints system because you cannot start it. It would seem that the banks have coluded in a cartel to remove all customer control ober their accounts.

@AskBarbarsUS Why do they tell you your account is interest-free for six months multiple times, and then when questioned about the interest charged on the statement, they backtrack and say, "Oh, it's only for specific purchases"? As a result, I'm closing my account!

Horrible customer service. They closed my account without a reason (someone else mistake) they do not take responsibility for it. I could even order my statements - on a business account! - which prevented me from making my annual financial report and caused trouble with HMRC! Horror!

I've been with Barclays for over 50yrs & never had any problems with understanding their statement layouts, BUT their new one now is ridiculas & a total shambles. Please go back to how it was, this one is a nightmare. I'll even think of going elsewhere if it continues.

Our once new town now has a large aging population, speaking as one of them, wife, sister, mother, grandmother, auntie & career. I know first hand how vital our local Barclays hub is to me my family, friends & the population. The staff are alway caring respectful & keen to help support us, when the techknowledge fails, is difficult to understand or navigate. I have nothing but full praise for our wonder team here. $16,000.00 was charged to my Jet Blue credit card issued by Barclay Bank while on a cruise. After receiving two statements showing the charges I contacted Barclays Bank and was told that it was too late to make a complaint. The bank failed to send an alert to me that my card was being excessively charged and now they refuse to credit my account and credit is being destroyed.

-5 stars for protecting customer bank information Barclays has been sending someone bank information to my address for 3 years now, in error I have reported this issue to them in branch, online and through official complaint route Still they send this persons bank information to my address wilfully and knowing that the person does not reside in that address 100% do not recommend you use the bank unless you wish for your personal information to go to unauthorised users

Have been granted probate on my father's est and still waiting for Barclays to release monies from his accounts absolutely disgraceful two other companies have already transferred money to my solicitor but Barclays still dragging their feet should be able to fine them after a certain time.

I wanted to open a new account but had a few questions as my situation is quite unique. I had tried to get the answers I needed from their website, but could not find answers. I have been on hold for over an hour and forty minuttes and still have not spoken to anyone. Clearly Barclays don't need my or anyone else's business. Disgusting service.

Some guy in the Fraud team was terrible. His name was Adeola. He was losing patience saying 'we keep going around the clock' 'I've already answered this question' and not very good at listening

Working with a high end client of Barclays. Sold them some expensive equipment and to get Barclays to move there ass on this project is like trying to get the Pope to convert to Judaism. They have no concept of time nor dead line and I find it very disrespectful when my time and reputation are involved .

THE WORST SERVICE EVER. I have been banking with Barclays for so many years, since I was a teenager. They have no interest in trying to help me or be considerate to my circumstances. I am overseas and they are costing me SO much money in phone calls to them to try and open an business account. They make it impossible and keep requiring more and more information. I have wasted so much time and money trying to sort it out. I don't recommend them. I will be switching banks.

The customer service representative is the most disgraceful degrading disgusting human being with the worst attitude I have ever had thee displeasure to encounter. Not only does they have absolutely no sensitivity to people's I’m a credit card holder with this company that doesn't value there customer. While on vacation in Atlanta Georgia, I purchased do E clothes from the Gap. Unfortunately, the clothes did fit my daughter so I tried returning them to the Gap in Charlotte NC. Once arriving at that location it was permanently closed. I contacted customer service and was told to ship the clothing back to the warehouse once receiving the shipping label. Upon doing so the same day via UPS store they haven’t refunded my card as of yet for the $227.28. I’ve filed a dispute to be told they would only issued me a gap electronically gift card. What I’m not understanding is why the funds are not retuned to my card. How will I be able to use the gift card if the store is permanently closed. Now, I received a letter stating the case has been clothes and they will not be refunding my card nor have I received the electronic gift card. Now, a letter came in the mail stating the dispute I filled for my refund has been closed. This is disappointing and disgusting that the clothes were returned to the warehouse but y’all are still holding me accountable for merchandise that has been returned. I called Barclays customer service again to be told to write a letter asking for the case to be reopened. How unprofessional and why do I need to do this again when everything is notated in y’all system.

Every Backlays Branch that I used to know has Shut down Yet Backlays bank is investing 6 Billion sterling in War against Palestinian People . I'm ashamed to be backlays customer for over 25 years.
