“We have just returned from spending the bank holiday weekend at the Baron. This is a lovely Inn with very welcoming owners and staff. Our room was very modern, clean and probably had the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in! The duvet and pillows were of extremely good quality and you can tell the owners spared no expense when decorating and furnishing the rooms. Also, it was a nice touch to have the little 'extras' that a lot of people do not provide, such as chocolate and biscuits next to the tea tray, an iron and small ironing board, a hairdryer and beautiful toiletries in the en suite. The room really was luxurious and very, very clean. The In itself is in a pretty little village, had a lovely beer garden with amazing views. A nice, friendly bar area and cosy restaurant , the menu was good and the food lovely. I wouldnt hesitate to reccommend the Baron to anyone....you wont be disappointed!”

“Just got back from a weekend stay at this pub. We and our friends thought it was a real find. Excellent food and beers with a good wine selection. Really high standard, comfortable rooms, with lovely views over the countryside and excellent breakfast, all at a very reasonable price. Well situated at the foot of Bucknell Hill with a good sized garden. Lovely walking country, with a book of walks available from the pub. The friendly, attentive service helped to make it a great weekend. We will certainly be back!”
