Very poor aftersales service. Barrhead have taken 10 months and not yet refunded me for their failure to provide transfers in Hong Kong. Leaving my wife and I to make our own arrangements. They agree they failed but do not seem interested in resolving this.

I had to cancel a flight due to the death of a relative. Informed them one month in advance yet they refused to refund a single cent. Frankly, I believe in Karma and look forward to something similar or worse happening to all their staff

When arranging trips through a travel agent, you expect this to be included in the price but this was resolved partly that I would have to buy the tickets myself when there and will be refunded when I get back.

Quick to take my money but when I cancel my holiday I’m still waiting for a refund 3 months on!! Saying that it was an oversight and they didn’t no anything about it! Yet there still never seems to be a manager available to process my refund..will not be using again!

All went well until we noticed that agent had booked hotel in Sydney supposedly 'near Darling harbour ' fortunately we know Sydney and when checking paperwork - hotel was in suburb of Parramatta which is 30 K from city centre ! To add insult it was non- refundable.

Tried to charge me for holiday insurance which I never asked for then argued about getting a refund saying that I Must have asked for it, always getting different people to deal with no continuity, different info from different people mostly wrong.

On 6th May the holiday company changed the availability, giving me the option of cancelling with a full refund of deposit.

i think that with such a big company they could have offered another holiday or a refund of some kind.

Booked holiday through Barrhead Travel at Braehead ,weren't sure where we wanted to go except short flight time and short transfer , advisor showed us hotel which we agreed too,5 weeks before flying checked tripadvisor to find hotel I has been plagued with a norovirus bug for years and 1 in 3 people take I'll , phoned by up asked to change hotel , no go non refundable booking apparently ? Terms and conditions applied ?Did t know much about it as we had left it to advisor to book it up and it dosnt say that on booking conformationabsolutely sick at thought of going on holiday to be ill at the cost of 1500 pounds,filled in enquiry form as way of complaint and received phone call from manager next day saying that hotel had refused refund ,and or advisor had ran through all the details with us?dont want to lose money and can't afford to rebook so might be forced to go .
