“This is the 3rd time I’ve booked with Barrhead travel and have always been very well looked after, the agents have worked hard to get me something that suits me. This time It was Paul who managed to arrange a fantastic cruise for us and never made me feel that anything was a problem”

“This is the second time we have booked with Barrhead Travel in Braehead Shopping Centre and we are really pleased with the service we received from David. He got us the best price for the hotel we were looking for at the best date for us. We can look forward to to our holiday next year knowing that all avenues have been covered. Thank you to all the staff at Braehead, we will be back for the next holiday booking to yourselves.”

“LAURA at the FORT WAS VERY HELPFUL, WE HAD A TALL ORDER TO FULFILL GIVEN WE WERE WANTING SEPERATE ROOMS FOR OUR TEENAGERS. WE WERE IN THE SHOP FOR WELL OVER AN HOUR AND LAURA WAS ALWAYS NICE AND PATIENT AND FOUND THE HOLIDAY THAT MET ALL OUR NEEDS, TO BE WITHIN A SET BUDGET PER PERSON,TO HAVE SEPERATE ROOMS AND TO HAVE SPORT AND ENTERTAINMENT TO SUIT ALL. THANKS AGAIN JAN”

“First class service. This the 2nd holiday this year that we have booked with Barrhead in Falkirk. Both time we have had Denise who listens to what you want and manages to give you a choice of hotels and destinations that cater to your need, we have decided that Barrhead Travel is the best”

“usually used a local travel company in Essex but price quoted was a lot more than what we wanted to pay, so we shopped around and spoke to Gregory at Barrhead travel Glasgow. told him what we wanted, business class on plane, Calgary stampede, rocky mountaineer gold leaf from Jasper to Vancouver and more excursions, his price came back a lot cheaper than our local T/A, plus he added a Alaskan cruise at the end with a drinks package and $300.00 to spend on the ship. and still it was cheaper than our T/A and also included 7 more days with the added excursions. i must admit i was a bit skeptical about the price and the amount he was quoting. I did pester him with lots of phone calls, he always answered my calls and questions with no problems. he is a very knowledgeable man and nothing was to much trouble. everything we did was first class and finished with a stretch limo to the airport {just me and the wife in the car}. Greg did us proud would definitely use Barrhead again but ask for Gregory”

“The level of service from start to finish was excellent. Kirsty go us everything within our budget with great location and good quality hotels. A dream holiday was created for us and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Barrhead travel to friends and family. The flights were excellent and everything went as planned. A huge thank you to Kirsty Rush for organising this for us.”

“Staff at Clydebank especially Claire put together a fantastic if not brilliant holiday for my husband and I. We travelled overland from Glasgow to Lourdes. stayed in the Galla Londres for eight nights and it was an experience we will not forget absolutely amazing. We travelled from Glasgow to London then onto France on the Eurostar ,then to Lourdes. The schedule was drawn up in such a way we had plenty of time to get to each train. The planning of this journey was absolutely brilliant. With Barrhead Travel Clydebank we knew we would get a great holiday but they really surpassed themselves. Thanx again guys. John and Mary Carroll.”

“I have booked with Barrhead Travel several times and have found them very helpful. In particular May Malcolm at the St Vincent St store has been excellent. My bookings have been varied and May has always been able to offer good advice and the prices are very competitive. I fully intend to return to Barrhead Travel and to May Malcolm in particular and would recommend others do the same.”

“Booked at trip to New York for a family wedding through dumfries branch hassle free from start to finish, flights from Edinburgh on time and hassle free, millburn hotel 76th street excellent, staff friendly and helpful, 10 mins walk to Central Park 30mins walk Times Square, transfers no problem. Looking to go to Las Vegas next year for daughters wedding so will be going into branch in the next few days for prices.”

“Excellent service and good communication. We had an amazing stress free holiday to the Canadian Rockies, including the Rocky Mountaineer. Our transfers were all prompt and our tours were fantastic and well organised.”

“We have previously used longhaul 'experts' for USA but this time they made a mess of our itinerary, so we decided to try Barrhead as a friend said she always used them. From the start our agent Natalie McIntyre,was excellent. I had a basic itinerary in mind, and it depended on using Amtrak sleeper trains, which cut into our budget, but Natalie found us excellent hotels. I had two hotels in mind but she found better ones - Washington DC a 10 min walk from National Mall, opposite one of the Smithsonians and two blocks from Hard Rock Cafe. In Denver smash bang in the middle of Downtown, 100 metres from the station. New York close enough to walk to most places other than the 9/11 museum, and Chicago....Mid Downtown, overlooking the River Walk in the Langham (THE BEST). All hotels were nice quality, all had safes and air conditioning and all but one had a fridge. Best of all, Natalie was patient and professional in dealing with the original Holzilla, guiding me to better choices in hotels and airports. particularly, she suggested we fly from/to Edinburgh. We flew out of Edinburgh and it was an excellent choice. I overruled her on the way back (Basically because of trains from Edinburgh to Aberdeen) but T5 is so big its a major pain getting from the plane to the waiting area for the connection to Aberdeen, so I should have taken her advice. So all in all, THE BEST travel service for Long Haul”
