Apologies for submitting this review late. My daughter, Munashe, was born at Basildon Hospital on 16/05/2022 via cesarean section. This was the best experience we have ever had. All the staff were just amazing and made the experience memorable for us. The midwife, the doctors, and the health care assistants were all fantastic. I think I remember Amanda and Charlotte. Thank you all; you are the best, and the work you do is critical.

I was brought into margerie Warren ward 20oct 2024 having been scanned for loss of balance which turned out to be tumor leaning on brain,I have to say all staff were so,so,caring throughout my stay there,on Monday 22oct at 5.30pm I was transferred to Queens at Romford there they thank god managed to take it all out of the side of the brain in one op,but I have so much praise for the angels sent from heaven on margerie Warren ward who were so caring Brian Northcott

I have nothing but praise for the staff in x-ray, A&E and minor injuries department. I attended the Basildon Hospital during the morning of 4th July. My GP had referred me to x-ray with a suspected broken wrist. My x-ray took place on time, I was informed immediately afterwards by the technician that I had indeed broken my wrist and referred to the Minor Injuries Department in A&E. I only had to wait 15 minutes to be assessed by a doctor who then referred me to the actual Minor Injuries unit, which again I only had to wait around 20 minutes. Was praised for having managed to not dislodge the break in the previous three and a half weeks since the accident, and fitted with a splint. The whole process only took between 75 and 90 minutes which I felt was extremely quick. Everyone was very pleasant, had a smile on their faces and we had a laugh together. Thank you very much every in these departments.

My daughter fell off her horse and went too children’s ED with a very injured arm. From the moment we walked into the hospital she was given amazing treatment. From the receptionist the 2 nurse's, doctor and the wonderful radiographer. Her arm showed a fracture, she was treated with care and everything was explained to her so well. Thank you xx

I went to the Haematology Day Unit for a bone marrow test on the morning of Thursday 3rd August 2023 at 9.45 am. I was certainly not looking forward to this procedure(!), but the friendliness, care and attention shown by everyone was just excellent, and the lady on the reception desk kept me informed and up-dated the whole time I was there. My thanks to the two nurses (Bradley & Joanne) for all their kindness, care and professionalism - definitely proves good nursing staff are born, not made! I had a chance to observe the Unit while I was there, and all staff I saw were first-class, with endless patience. How lucky are we to have these people? Thanks, everyone, and I'd be grateful if this could be passed on to the Unit staff.

I had a pre-assessment in the Cardiothoracic centre yesterday and can't praise the nurses and consultant highly enough. They were friendly, helpful and made what could have otherwise been a daunting experience as easy and relaxed as it could be in the circumstances. Anne Wilson

I would just like to say how much the team looked after me from start to finish . I had a referral in February by march beginning of April all my tests had been carried out a bowel cancer was detected ( which I'm still trying to believe) the colecteral staff were brilliant i was allowed 2 pre op assessments even suggesting one of my sons could join us by video link. I couldn't have been made any more important. Also the nurses on laindon east and west ward worked tirelessly , i feel most privilleged to have been treated so brilliantlyx

I've had to use a 24 hours heart monitor, the lady fitted it yesterday and I went back today to return it,both appointments were 2pm,I did get a text today asking for a response from me but on trying to send it they said I would be charged,so I think it may have been a scam as I have memory problems, thank you to the nurse who helped me and the receptionist who took me to where I had to be,only problems on both days was the oil protest on the qe 2 bridge,I wish they would target the refinerys not the public.

Yesterday I was in the worse state I’ve ever been in in my entire life and the pain was on another level. I came back to the hospital where I’d already been that morning for the same pain. I was greeted by a lovely dr you looked at me it’s kindness and sympathy which made a world of difference. Alani (I think that’s how you spell it) A&E doctor worked on the night shift, long brown hair with a link scrunchy. Alani was absolutely incredible, she took the time to really dig deep into my situation racking her brains as too what was wrong and also gave me the care I needed that evening. Staff like this are a rarity and I was so so lucky and grateful to have have such a knowledge, caring and passionate doctor that evening. I know I promised to stop saying sorry and thank you so much.... THANK YOU! Love Robyn xx

I cannot fault this hospital. The care received by myself and others in a multitude of different departments has been faultless.
