“I have hairy armpits so Leeds Castle was out for the day. But, This Bax lot from Holland gave me the confidence and I took the plunge. 5* -1 as when you buy stuff it says next day delivery, and they say Folkestone but thats an admin place were people do admin stuff for money. Make your website clear, your location where delivery takes place clear before buying... or is that the business model? At least Thomann make that clear...”

“Ordered an Epiphone Swingster from Bax. Price was competitive and none of my local guitar shops had the finish I wanted in stock. So tried out Bax for the first time. Very impressed with the service. Kept well informed from warehouse stage to despatch. Guitar arrived on the day stated when ordering. Well packaged and no transit damage to the guitar. I will use them again.”

“After seeing a Ubass played at a gig, I ordered a Kala U-Bass Nomad Fretted Bass Ukulele with Gig Bag from Bax and I'm blown away by it! I'm a rock bassist and just love the booming sound this little Ubass can generate. So funky! I'm sure it will become a talking point at gigs! Bax delivered it withinn 3 days. Very happy!”

“I have always been pleased with overall service, quality and value of all previous items purchased from Bax Music. This order arrived as always on time and was very well packaged. The order consisted of an Ortega Timber Series RLG5EB-CR Guitarlele, and a set of Ortega UWNY-4-BA Baritone Uke strings for another instrument I own. What are these strings? Two quality white nylon, one quality E 4th wound (all aforementioned in clear packs), and a nasty looking cheap apology of a string for the wound A that is clearly does not belong to this set. Okay Bax this is ly not your fault, as you are not expected to open each pack. However, I would have expected some form of QC check on the Guitarlele as this is not a bargain basement instrument (that said your price was the most competitive by far in the UK). Lets just say, a nut that was not profiled on the high A side, very roughly cut with strings seated much too high. all frets scratchy, unfinished and unpolished. action at 12th fret low A 5.5mm and 5mm at high A...which is far too high on a an instrument with high tensioned strings. The wound strings were actually rusty and looked like they had be fitted by a complete novice. Anyway, just as well I have had many years experience working on stringed instruments. After lowering nut saddle by 2.5mm, correctly profiling and re-cutting string slots, sanding and polishing the frets, then fitting a new set of Ortego Guitarlele strings (which are excellent both in tone and value) the instrument in my opinion is a keeper. On the positive side construction of this instrument and general appearance is excellent. The tuners are truly superb, and as for the electrics while they are basic I don't believe I have ever heard a single tone pot ever produce such a wide variety of tone, absolutely brilliant. It's just a pity that Ortega let this one slip through quality control, and I feel Bax also should at least have a look at some items they supply. I will however expect a refund for the cost of the Baritone Ukulele strings. This is not the first time I have received items requiring remedial work both personally and for others, and it wont be the last. I just wonder how may youngsters, and beginners of any age are put off by instruments that no matter what price point...are badly set up. It is the responsibility of the seller as much as the manufacturer to ensure the instruments they build and sell are playable. So, only 3 stars this time Though the worked on version would be 5 plus.”

“Having bought a second hand Squier Telecaster privately for a bargain price, I needed to find a suitable hard case for it. Most cases seemed to cost almost as much as I had paid for the guitar, so I was dubious that the £40 Fazley case from Bax would be much more than a glorified cardboard box. How wrong I was! It was delivered promptly, fits my guitar perfectly and offers excellent protection. The only downside is the slight scuff on one edge, but not worth complaining about, it will get scuffed in use anyway. It looks great, old-ish finish in a sort of brown/black PVC covering, antique bronze latches (one lockable), and an internal storage compartment (which isn't big enough for spare strings or strap, but ok for plectrums and a stick of Fastfret). Overall, good value for money.”

“Absolutely love the tc electronic hall of fame 2 reverb pedal, which was out of stock everywhere else! I needed a good effects pedal that could use battery as well as mains. It’s perfect. Never used bax music before so was slightly nervous - and their courier (parcelforce) delivered a day late - but the customer service from bax music was excellent, immediately tracking down the parcel and reassuring me. It arrived safely and I’m really happy. Will definitely use Bax music again.”

“After ordering i thought 'why have a bought yet another guitar?' Well what could I expect for this price????? certainly not what I got. The delivery was very quick. The guitar was very well packaged. I took it out and it looked gorgeous. Clipped on the tuner and all strings were slightly flat, which was ideal, brought them up to tune and plugged in to the nearest amp. The sound and playability was absolutely amazing, couldn't put it down. Tuned up a couple of times more and that was it. Still can't belive it I am over the moon with it. Oh, and it came with a free guitar handbook, which is very good particularly for a beginer which I'm not, but have never received such with any guitars previously and just a very thoughtful aftercare support well done bax.”

“Ordered my new Epiphone J-200 EC Studio LH Vintage Sunburst on 15th April with an estimated delivery of 1 week and it duly arrived bang on time and extremely well packaged. Excellent service considering the LH version had been on order from another very well known company since January with an estimated delivery of 4 months who then re-advised that it would be August before delivery. Obviously I canceled they're order when I discovered Bax Music. Cannot fault their customer service 5 stars”
