Very prompt delivery. Clear instructions. Well made piece of kit. I don’t fulfill the criteria. I’m 65 and my ‘good’ leg is not at all strong. I find the peg leg much much easier to use than crutches as my good leg won’t hop. Practicing for my upcoming ankle fusion I find that with the peg leg and one crutch I’m stable, mobile and can get up and down stairs. It’s a great relief. I could not have managed with crutches alone.

I purchased an Iwalk-2 as I am on the waiting list for talo-navicular fusion which means I will be non weight bearing for 6 weeks at least. The thought of using crutches with all their limitations was not an option. After looking at what was available I purchased the Iwalk. I am not disappointed. It was easy to assemble and comes with comprehensive instructions not only for assembly but how to get yourself moving with it too. Once I had made the adjustments and strapped myself in I was walking quite confidently within minutes. I shall use every day for a short while to get familiar with it and when my surgery is done I will be fully mobile, non weight bearing and able to get on with my life!

A wonderful innovative device which left my hands free and gave much more freedom. I tried it pre op to acclimatise and loved it but unfortunately was not able to use it post op...no fault of the I-walker! I contacted the company to see about a return and they couldn't have been more helpful. The instructions in the box for re packing were very concise and it went back in the original packaging with no problem.

Very speedy and efficient service. Unit was despatched within a couple of hours of ordering and arrived the following morning. Various emails kept me up-to-date with what was happening with the order. Before it arrived had appointment with fracture specialist and asked his opinion. He hadn't heard of it previously, but after a couple of minutes studying online, simply said "Go for it"! Tried it for the first time this morning. I am no 'spring-chicken' (age 66), albeit without any mobility problems until current leg-bone fracture. It must have taken about three steps before I felt confident. After that, although not exactly 'pirouetting', was able to bring in a cup of tea from the kitchen and later empty dishwasher and washing machine without any bother. It is actions like this that are so difficult to do when using crutches. I'm expecting also that it will be far less fatiguing. Using crutches I have to pause every 10 or so 'hops', whereas, although not walking huge distances so far with the iWalk, it hadn't occurred to me that I needed to stop for a rest.

Hi really pleased with the pegleg it is well engineered, took only a few minutes to assemble and fit and I was walking around, as I live on my yacht it is invaluable and I'm able to get along the pontoons and up the steep ramp on to the quayside, would happily recommend this device. Many thanks.

The iwalk 2 is a Superb product, I found it fairly easy to put together. After around 10-15 minutes and a good few cautious baby steps I was walking without the aid of crutches, with an achiles tendon injury the thought of crutches for around 12week's was depressing. But the consultant at the hospital told me about the iwalk 2, after a quick Internet search I found peglegs and their service was second to none from fast and easy ordering to the delivery and beyond. Many thanks for your service and advice

I am a 77 year old male who was scheduled for ankle fusion. Although some might consider 77 to be elderly I am reasonably fit but I was uncertain whether or not this would be suitable for me having read ( after purchase ) that it was not recommended for over 55s or those who could not balance one one leg for 30 seconds! I believe that this age-limit advice has now been changed. After having spoken to Jerry for advice he convinced me to give it a try. I practised for a few minutes a day for 3 days before ankle surgery to gain confidence which came very quickly. Now having had the surgery a couple of days ago I have discarded crutches for the i-walker and am now hands-free which is much more convenient. Stairs are no longer a problem (just come down backwards!). The instructional videos are extremely clear and helpful. My orthopaedic consultant was impressed and pointed out an additional advantage in that using the i-walker rather than crutches or a knee scooter would help exercise the upper leg and reduce muscle tone loss during the 6 weeks in plaster. Definitely not just for the young and fit we oldies can also benefit!

My husband had an ankle fusion 10 days ago, we found Peglegs on the internet and Jerry Jones bent over backwards to get it to us as soon as he could. It is absolutely brilliant, it has made such a difference to my husband , at 66 he was finding the crutches horrendous , hurting his shoulders and hands etc. Within a few days he began going outside, no crutches, on uneven ground and is much more cheerful. We can recommend it wholeheartedly, it is sturdy and and feels safe. Great product!

Great product and service. I have had my Iwalk2.0 for four weeks now following Achilles rupture and a massive difference from crutches. I am cooking, cutting lawn, shopping and playing golf (badly but no change there) all made possible with this well designed product would highly recommend if it is suitable for you.

I’m a 57 year old male with a fractured left ankle. I am now in plaster for six weeks post op with a plate and screws and a six inch zip in my lower leg! Ordered the iwalk2.0 from my hospital bed after surgery and it arrived two days later as stated. Simple assembly but you do need to read the instructions to help get the set up spot on. Walking within minutes! The freedom from having to use crutches is simply fantastic! Four weeks post op and I’m now able to go supermarket shopping and do most of the things that would be simply impossible on crutches. Even staircases are easy, although as advised coming down backwards! The design and construction of the device is excellent and very well made. I can not recommend the iwalk2.0 more highly as an alternative to crutches.

My iWalk 2 arrived very promptly and it was a very nice touch to receive a personal email from Jerry with his contact details should I have any queries. I purchased my iWalk preorder so that I could get a little used to it. I am one day post op today and straight back using it. The devise is great and the customer service as far as I have experienced it is excellent. Would highly recommend this company.

I didn't need the iwalk once ordered because I could weight bare much sooner than expected but the team gave first class customer service in both assisting me with its return and refunded me promptly.
