“When delivered my order was a beer short and two of the compartments within one of the boxes held more than one bottle of beer with a bottle inverted on top of another. I telephoned to raise the issue and received a refund of £5 to compensate for the missing bottle. I would have given a 'poor' rating overall but for the helpful lady I spoke to who promptly issued the refund. Whether I order again is another matter.”

“Purchased as a Birthday gift for a good friend who considers himself a German beer expert from his years he stayed there. Excellent quick service, & he rates all the beers he has drank so far very highly.”

“Ordered a few as a gift for partner and as my first order. missing the can he wanted the most was given refund as told that it's too risky to send single items I've had single bottles of wine delivered so know it's possible in air envelopes or polystyrene but told you don't have any seems like cost to yourself is more important than a new customer”

“Customer service is second to none. Very quick responses to all questions. Have only tried emailing, and that works very well. A fresh approach unlike most other companies that either take a lifetime to reply or just dont bother. These guys are on point! Best prices online too!”

“Chuffed that I managed to find the beer I wanted on here - I have only ever seen it as "out of stock" at all other UK retailers. I personally don't rate UKMail as a logistics company (only seems to deliver Monday - Friday, the alternative delivery options aren't very useful, and their nearest depot is 30 minutes away), so it would be better if you could choose an alternative delivery method. That said, the parcel itself was very sturdy and all the bottles turned up in perfect condition. I'll definitely be using this site again.”

“Incorrect delivery was made of the second part of my order. A duplicate of the first order was delivered. Correct order was not delivered till after the incorrect delivery had been collected so spoilt a Christmas present being given on the correct day.”

“Wrong message placed with parcle. Including the details of the person who the message was intended for. Which must mean that my details are now with a stranger. No reply from email sent to Beer Hawk. very disapointed.”

“I am a big user of Beer Hawk. Great beer, a little bit on the expensive side, but I can access what I want. Terrible website however, not at all intuitive, so hard to navigate, especially on a modern iPhone etc. Unless you are buying a mixed case and then you get too much rubbish thrown in.”

“Had a problem with the courier company which resulted in my order being stolen, however beer hawk were fantastic, replaced the order immeditately, no fuss, no delay from them Fantastic customer service”
