“Easy site to navigate, plenty of choice and deliveries well packaged. The use of UK Mail with 1 hour delivery slots is an excellent choice of courier. Recommended.”

“on ordering my purchase, I was informed that the payment hadnt been successful therefore |I ordered again , to be told again that the purchase was not successful. I then abandoned the purchase and bought from an alternative source. Within 2-3 days the beer from beerhawk was delivered , two boxes and the money debitted from my account. I will not be purchasing again.”

“Beer delivered very quickly. However on the downside mini kegs only had 5 weeks before out of date. I would definitely use again, bit it would be good if bbf date for mini kegs was displayed.”

“Had a placed a couple of orders from beer hawk over the Christmas period and service was disappointing. I think they were just overwhelmed with demand and where struggling to cope (plus I think they had recently moved warehouse which is not the best timing). However since the new year I have placed more orders and all have arrived with fast delivery (within a couple of days) and no issues. Any contact I have had with the customer service has been excellent. Will definitely be doing more purchases with beer hawk in the future. I just hope in the future, lessons have been learned and they will be better equipped for the holiday seasons.”

Michael, Great review and bang on with the comments, we did move warehouse far too close to Christmas which caused issues so never again !!! However as stated we are back on it and cooking on gas. Cheers Stu

“So many issues with this service: 1) I was bought a gift voucher, which didn't work on the site. Your CX person was helpful in replacing this with 'beer tokens', but these (unlike a gift card) cannot be used in conjunction with discount codes, meaning I had to spend more than I intended. 2) My order arrived on time, but only four of the seven items I ordered were in the box. When I contacted you, I as told the warehouse had 'mispicked' and would send the rest out asap. 3) A week later, another box turns up, with only two of the final three items I ordered in it. How can there be two mistakes in one order?? 4) Frustrated by this, I requested a refund on the rest, which despite being told would be fine has not arrived in my account four days later. 5) Finally, your packing is so anti-environmentally friendly. Each order I've received arrives in a huge cardboard box, far larger than required, especially for the order that had two solitary bottles in. I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone unless some of these absolute basics were resolved. I'd love this service to work as the idea is great. However in future, until things markedly improve, I will use competitors e.g. Beer 52.”

Tom, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review and we do appreciate your comments. We have had issues with the voucher codes and are currently resolving this. We are also overhauling and reviewing packaging to reduce our carbon footprint. We take all comments forward and resolve any issues. Cheers Stu

“Although I was quite sceptical that I would get a box of past sell by/beers they couldn't sell, this box greatly surprised me, an amazing range of beers, with some great surprises such as limited edition porters and German smoked beers. Well worth the money and would definitely order again.”

“I bought a range of gifts for the men in my life this Xmas and all met my expectations. I can particularly recommend the Christmas crackers - I bought three from different breweries and all had an interesting range which they would not perhaps have ordinarily bought but certainly enjoyed trying. Everything arrived on time (in fact, early) and well packaged. I will definitely be buying again next year.”

“Got this as a present at Christmas. Beerhawk were very helpful in converting my voucher into beer, which was in turn, promptly delivered. Sadly it didn't last very long ! I found their site to be straightforward, with an excellent selection of beers from around the world. Many of which were new to me (though I'm getting there !). This is a company, a website, and a pastime.........that I'll be returning to often !”

“Be very careful ! A number of bottles are only 330ml and NOT a full 500ml ! ... Not what you expect from someone trying to capture your business ! ... Also one of the bottles I received was 330ml in size when in fact I ordered a 500ml bottle ! ... I was offered what amounted to free postage (worth £5.00) on my next order for beer which is a tad overpriced anyway !! Wont be using again !”

“My wife bought the 2016 advent calendar for me and I was impressed! Great beers. The only slight problem was that the internal structure of the box failed a bit and a few of the beers ended up falling down into the bottom. Luckily my 7 year old had small enough hands to locate the rogue beers! The star of the show for me was the Grapefruit beer, which was a pleasant surprise as I don't generally like fruit beers. The grape fruit was subtle and blended well. Don't buy if you are expecting supermarket value, do buy if you are not concerned about value but, enjoy tasting new, unusual and great beers. An excellent product that makes for a unique gift. Cheers!”
