“Excellent selection of beer and accompanying gifts. On the rare occasion there is a problem customer services have been excellent and problems fixed in a very quick and efficient manner. I have recommended Beer Hawk to many friends. The beer Advent calendar is now a must for the husband. :)”

“I phoned customer services to clarify a point or two about the Perfect Draft system and they were so helpful I bought one and six kegs to kick-start Christmas. It's a fantastic system and the kegs are so easy to exchange: a 10 second job! I was running Leffe Blond and Hoegaarden and swapping over kegs as required - no need to wait until each keg empties just put them on standby in the fridge and reload. Everyone at our party was very impressed and at least two will be Perfect Draft owners after Santa calls. Well done Beer Hawk, regards, Brian Cox”

“Whilst the beer was great, the service was awful. When my delivery failed to arrive I tried contacting the delivery people - UKMail, as their online tracking service was no help. However the UKMail phone number only gets you a machine where your options are limited (I did try emailing that produced no joy). After half a day trawling the internet and trying many numbers (I am not looking forward to my phone bill!) I found the number to another part of their business and begged them to pass my number over so they could phone me back. I had to do this several times to finally be told my parcel appeared broken and so I needed to contact Beer Hawk. Why they could not have let me know or let Beer Hawk know is beyond me. So I contacted Beer Hawk by email, and they arranged for a replacement to be sent out, but only using the same delivery method as before - I had ordered the beer for a special occasion so needed it asap. Whilst Beer Hawk were good at re-ordering the beer for me they did not in any way address my disappointment with the Delivery company, if I had not chased to find out where my parcel was (which was like something off Crystal Maze) then nothing would have happened. I do think Beer Hawk need to get a Delivery company where you can at least speak to a human if you want to. So whilst the beer was good the delivery service was shocking.”

“My review would not be a quick one so ill not bother writing it plus none of my complaints have been responded to properly so what is the point. thank you to Sam for resolving the issues with my order the only person who seemed to help and I must have spoken to 5 people in total at beer hawk! Will not be using you again plenty of other companies doing the same thing that I can use hopefully these will be more professional!”

“I placed 4 orders on the 5th December. None of them arrived within 5 days. I have hone on numerous occasions sometimes the phone is answered. One of my orders was returned to sender for no apparent reason. After chasing & chasing 3 of my orders have now been delivered. The 4 th one is showing complete but I don't know where it is certainly NOT with my son. I have tried to phone this morning but again no answer. I have before retiring owned a mail order company so I do understand the pressures but you should not promise what you cannot fulfill. Regards Sue Cave-Merrin”

“Ordered a present to celebrate the opening of my friend's new business venture in Plymouth, which just happens to be a beer shop! Delivery got there with perfect timing for their soft launch, so they could toast their success with a bottle of Deus Champagne Beer! Highly recommended!”

“Delivery service is very poor. First order delivered almost a week late and as it was a birthday present I had to apologise for missing the day. Second delivery was left in a neighbours porch around the corner but an e mail was sent to me saying that it was in my porch. Fortunately my neighbour is honest and brought the case round when he got home”

“Despite a decent selection available my first and only time ordering from beerhawk was not a great experience. The 6 bottles/cans I ordered arrived in two huge boxes designed for 24 - one box had just one can in. This would be forgivable if the whole order was there; it wasn't, I was missing two cans.”

“Ordered 2x Xmas bottles for a secret Santa gift. Paid £5 delivery and a huge box arrived (reduce the size and cost) containing only 1 bottle. I emailed to advise of the missing bottle to be ignored completely. Disappointed to say the least. In effect I have paid £10 for 1 bottle of beer”

“Order was not sent within the 5 working days U.K. Mail could not find the address, and I could not arrange redelivery online and could not speak to anyone on the phone I had to call beer hawk to get them to organise it In total it took 3 weeks to take delivery Not happy”
