“Web site very poor, said beer was in stock when it wasn't. Poor communications because email address had been incorrectly forwarded to despatch department. However after I phoned them to try to sort things out they were very helpful in the office and also very fair in recognising problems.”

Hello, The beers you received have 2 types of date on them, The Bottled on and the sell by. As they are American beers and they put the bottled on and not always the sell by date. Please get in touch with us at info@beermerchants.com and we can assure you further that the beers are fresh and in date with 1 year on them as sell bys.

“My initial order was damaged and one of the beers I ordered was then out of stock. I was not advised of this and only found out after I contacted beermerchants as my order never arrived. I chose two different beers to replace the out of stock ones, and my order was then delivered quickly, however the lack of communication throughout was frustrating.”

“It's hard to give Beer Merchants a fair review as I placed an order for Cantillon on that fateful day. My order went through fine and was delivered promptly, but I will say I was not very satisfied with the level of packaging £100 wort of rare lambics were given: a single skinned box, designed for 12 330ml bottles, and no extra packaging to prevent the unwrapped bottles from moving around. Not what I expect my beers to come in!”

“The site caused me multiple issues when I tried to spend a birthday voucher. It kept emptying my cart and I couldn't log in. After 7 attempts the issue had finally been resolved and the order was straightforward after that. The beer arrived very soon after, but the whole experience has left a bit of a bitter taste even though I know it's now fixed.”

“My order of 6 bottles of beer and a glass arrived exactly on time and was what I expected so that was very good. The packaging was limited - there was no bubble wrap or shredded paper, just the kind of standard cardboard bottle divides that supermarkets provide. I'd only purchased 6 bottles and as the divider was for 12 bottles the beer had fallen over within the box. Luckily the bottles hadn't broken the glass ( which was completely unprotected ) and the beer was safe! Sorry - can only rate as average due to the poor packaging. Will probably use a different merchant next time.”

“No problems with products or delivery, however my last order was missing a couple of items. I used the online enquiry form to leave my details etc but received no reply. I should have telephoned I suppose, but put it down to a one off as I have had a couple of previous orders with no problems whatsoever.”
