I spoke to customer service, Douglas Munro, who was very friendly and helpful on the phone and happy to help put my order on hold for a few months. The reason my review is 4 stars not 5 is because it took a while of being on hold before I spoke to him.

Service and products are very good. Personally I was given the subscription as a gift and am not a massive craft beer drinker so have chosen to stop the subscription. Douglas on customer services was very helpful.

Douglas was great to deal with, explained that the first box was a gift and the recipient couldn’t afford the sub so changed delivery to myself and paused the sub until Christmas where they can get a discounted box if they take the sub back on. Very easygoing company and pleasure to deal with.

Contacted to cancel as beers weren't to my liking. Customer service was great, postponed subscription until such time as beers will be more to my taste, plus a discount. Can't fault the customer service

Customer service great - beers ok but not all to my liking which made it a bit pricey. Offered some deals to keep me on which worked for a month or so!

They have some good beers from around the world. There are some "fillers" that can be bought cheaper from the local supermarket but the majority are international.

The beers were fantastic and really enjoyable, service and delivery were spot on too. I would happily keep my subscription going but I just can't quite justify the price at the moment.

I enjoyed the beer and thought the service was very good value, I just realised that I am a bit of a beer philistine and can happily drink anything, so no need for this. I agree with some comments here that the heart always sinks when you have to call a phone line to cancel something, but I was only waiting 5 minutes and a very friendly customer service guy called Angus sorted out the cancellation with no fuss. I liked the service very much, it just wasn't for me.

If you want to expand your beer experience and try something new, this is the thing. I signed up for the free case, which was about £5 for delivery. I'll admit it wasn't really my thing (I think it was a taster), though none of it was un-palatable. The 2nd case arrived when I was away, and my wife put it in the fridge. I've only just looked at it now at it seems a bit better. However I have cancelled my subscription as I have to cut my budget. A bit annoyed I had to ring up to do that (you can pause the subscription for 1 month online). I expected a hard sales pitch and inducements to carry on. However I spoke to Angus (I think), who was very friendly, and we chatted about places in the UK to visit! I probably took up more of his time then vice versa. He cancelled no issues. He did offer 1/3 off the next planned delivery (New York beers which sounded nice), and also asked if I wanted to be kept on mailing list for 1 off offers that don't need subscription. Other than that, nice and easy, with no hard sell.

I’ve really enjoyed trying some different beers. Excellent customer service too. I’m now on my fourth case but I’m probably going to cancel because I think it’s a bit expensive in the long run. Might return later when I fancy treating myself.

Nice experience, but currently as the only offer a mixed box rather than an all dark beer box I wasn't getting quite enough of the kind of beer I like. Still, easy enough to cancel so long as you don't mind being on hold for a little. The phone reps have been polite and helpful in my experience.

Communications are friendly. Beer is expensive. Great if you are IPA, Stout/Porter, Lager or Sour focused but if you’re after brown, amber, red or golden ales look elsewhere like the pub!
