“I first saw BeerBods back in 2013. A friend of mine posted a photo of his BeerBods box on Facebook and it looked like a good selection of beers. I told my wife about it. At the start of 2014, 12 weeks before our wedding, she purchased me a box as a countdown to our wedding day. I had some new beers, read about them and engaged on Twitter. It was good fun. So, I carried it on. Four years and a load of beer later, I'm still going! I've only had two beers I really didn't like. I've only had a handful I'd already heard of. It's educated me about beers, breweries and ingredients. As well as the weekly beer, I have purchased sale boxes, a glass, t-shirt and, of course, #12BeerBodsofChristmas. The 'company' has a great feel about it. The customer service has often gone above and beyond. Like beer, social media, chatter and broadening your horizons? Go on, buy a box...”

“I joined BeerBods in the early days - I don't know how long ago and even though other "Beer to your door" sites have appeared, BeerBods is the original and still the best - the beers are great and I've tried so many I would have never even come across. The newsletters are great and always entertaining - I love the style - it's like a good old session down the pub with your mates. Long may it continue.”

“Beerbods has been a massive influence on my beer journey, it has introduced me to many new styles and breweries. I love seeing which beer I’m drinking this week and you get a good mix of traditional & modern styles. Unlike other beer subscription services the service is always fantastic and you do feel like you’re getting real value for money. Unfortunately I am not always able to get involved in the discussions on a Thursday evening but I often drink the beers with friends and family who are also Beerbods members.”

“A brilliant service from people who really know and care about beer. Unlike a few other beer subscription services, which are just really wholesalers shifting product, this is a lovingly curated weekly sip with a great story attached. Matt and the team unearth new brewers and international classics again and again. I can’t tell you how much they have improved my knowledge and love of great beer. And it’s a great gift for any other beer-lovers you might know.”

“Just opened my box and delighted. A range of beers – from those available in the next borough to me, to a few from distant corners. The all look good for the coming season and, although they may not all be to my taste, they are interesting enough to try and I'll look forward to tucking in. Thanks.”

“I’ve had so many great beers thanks to beerbods. I love the fact I’ve tried so many styles and types I would never normally (I’ve even warmed to porters and stouts). Best of all is the real sense of community being a ‘bod’ so I’d highly recommend.”

“I've been a subscriber since about 2014, the early days of beerbods, 4 years or 200ish weeks ago. By now my wife knows that Thursdays at 9 are an important, somewhat indulgent time of the week, where sometimes even she finds a new beer that she likes! It's wonderful to think that since then BeerBods have been providing me with beer I wouldn't otherwise have had the chance to drink. The beers have varied rather a lot as you'd imagine over that length of time, but the quality of beer we get delivered has always been great. Whatsmore I've seen BeerBods develop & diversify somewhat with the seasonal journal which is a lovely little magazine to read or the additional cases like BeerBods Plus. Those extra boxes allow subscribers like me to try something often quite different, whether the ABV be silly, or the flavours bold & unusual.”

“I love the fact I get to try Beers I would probably have past over in the pub/bottle shop. Having done so has meant I've discovered some amazing beers I would never have tried otherwise. It's definatly made me more open minded about beer styles to try. The virtual community is great and always interesting to see what others think of that weeks beer. The Live events are always fun to attend and meet other 'Bods'. Beerbods is the best £3 a week you could spend :)”
