“Best Buy is terrible - inefficient and ineffective. I ordered a laptop online through their website on Dec. 23 at their Boxing Sale price. They cancelled it and didn't tell me. Ordered again Dec 26. They cancelled it and didn't tell me. Ordered again Dec. 27. Ordered it directly by phone to make sure there wouldn't be a problem. They waited a week and cancelled it. Over the 4 orders I called customer service 20 times to try and have the order go through, plus used online chat. No phone or online chat staff had any power to help. I felt sorry for them being stuck in a system with no solutions. It was useless trying to reach anyone with any power to do something to move the order forward. They said it was a payment problem (with 4 different kinds of payment that I have NEVER had problems with online before). I live 12 hours of travel away from a store, so begged a friend in the city to go into the store to pay directly as Best Buy had promised that would work. The in-store employees said they were now out of stock - they sold out during the week and a half I'd been ordering it. Plus Best Buy refused to honor the sale price even if it came back in stock. I even put in a special request to have all 4 orders reviewed and they promised to get back to me but haven't.
I finally ordered the same laptop directly from the computer company that makes it - at a lower price with a longer warranty, and my payment went through in 30 seconds and it was mailed the next day. So easy and effective. Thus I will NEVER make the mistake of using Best Buy again. Save yourselves time, frustration, and disappointment and order your products from somewhere else!!!”

“I was building a PC. The prices were okay buy I had issues with shipping. I ordered RAM and it was supposed to be there on on Saturday and it arrived on Sunday. That is disappointing but not a huge deal. The part came in and I returned it on Monday. No problem, the return went off without a hitch. I ordered the RAM I wanted and the app said it would be there on Wednesday. It was delayed again. It didn't get sent out till Wednesday. What's worse, they didn't send it by two day shipping like they said they would, so it won't be here till Saturday”

“We recently purchased a new iphone 14 at the store in Amherst NY. We had the most amazing sales experience with their sale associate Olivia. Our existing iphone was so old that even the Geek Squad told use that transferring the photos and contacts would be impossible. Olivia took the entire afternoon to remedy the situation and make all of the preferred settings. Fortunately we arrived at an off time and it was not busy. I have never experienced anyone as patient and accommodating as her. We were extremely thankful for knowledge and effort .”

He was super helpful, explained what we/he needed to do, and we were out of there in no time. Probably what I appreciated the most was Brandon didn’t give exhausted looks when I told him what I did and didn’t understand… which is not always the case. To be greeted with a smile these days is a rarity, yet Brandon was on point with courteous service.”
