“I am writing this review to warn potential buyers about my dreadful experience with Woo Carz in Southampton. In August 2024, I purchased a Fiat 500 from Woo Carz, assured by their salesman that it was a reliable and quality vehicle. However, the reality has been far from satisfactory due to persistent faults and appalling customer service.
Major Issues:
Faulty Car: The car randomly shifts into neutral while driving, posing a severe safety hazard. This issue was first noticed on 26 October 2024 and reported immediately. This made the car absolutely terrifying to drive as you can imagine. Definitely not what you expect when you buy your first car!
Poor Diagnostics: The car was booked into a main dealer in Southampton. While initial diagnostics found no issues, a second diagnosis identified faults in the clutch, flywheel, and control unit. Woo Carz failed to communicate this information; I had to obtain it directly from the garage.
Warranty Not Honored: Despite a six-month warranty, Woo Carz failed to honor it adequately. I had to arrange independent diagnostics myself, and even after a clutch replacement by a third party in December 2024, the car continued to have the same problem. I had to drive the car with the issue to the third party myself, and hope and pray I would get there safe. The car did go into neutral on the way there, but luckily I was stopping at traffic lights and did not crash.
Ineffective Repairs: After another repair attempt, replacing the brake light switch, the car still went into neutral. Evidently, the car was sold to me with an existing issue. Whenever I tried to get my money back, excuses were made (when they did bother to pick up the phone to me, which was a rarity).
Communication Failures: I continuously chased the manager and other representatives for updates, often being ignored and false promises being made to drag the issue out more. On 11 February, Woo Carz offered only £350 towards the £1,637.80 cost of a new control unit, despite the warranty.
Formal Complaint Ignored: I wrote a formal letter to the owner, requesting a rejection of the car. To date, no response has been received, and I have been without a functional vehicle for nearly a month.
Conclusion:
This experience has been incredibly frustrating and stressful. Woo Carz's failure to honor their warranty, communicate effectively, and provide a reliable solution has left me without a functional vehicle. I urge potential buyers to avoid this dealership to avoid similar distress.”

They just wanted a quick sale and got impatient with me when I wanted to have a think about it. I do not recommend this dodgy dealership one bit.”
