After three years trying to get our kitchen finished (now on third set of peeling doors and plinths) the fitter for the latest set didn't turn up this morning. Then found out they have gone bust! Opened the supplied doors to fit them myself and found betta living have been consistent to the end - three of the doors are the wrong size!! What a useless company. Wefitanyfurniture will not answer the phone (some hope!) don't touch any of this guys' companies with a barge pole.

On 17/09/2016 we visited Betta Living on a whim to look at some kitchens and ended up having the designer call out to our house a couple of hours later as they had a free slot that day. We got our design and haggled on the price (at least it felt like we did) and agreed a price and paid the deposit on the day, Now, the strange thing is, the designer said he couldn't take a card payment and we would HAVE to pay by bank transfer. (didn't find this strange at the time as I have paid other bills in this way) Original designer was sloppy and it was only when the surveyor turned up that we realized the designer hadn't given us any drawers in the kitchen! Really?! So the surveyor left saying he would sort it with the designer and come up with a new updated plan, which he did and 2 days before he was due to come out to finalise our kitchen, we heard that the company had gone into administration. Heartbroken! We tried and tried to contact them but to no avail. So we tried to issue a chargeback with our bank only to be told that we couldn't because we had paid via faster payment and not used our card (think back to the designer saying he couldn't take a card payment, it would need to be via the bank). This naturally has made me very angry. We have had numerous emails from the administrator basically telling us that the company is gone and there are no assets to pay our deposit........ BUT LO AND BEHOLD.....Noel Dean, owner of Betta Living, has started up 4 yes 4 new companies, and have bought the order book for betta living and plan to work on a case by case basis to honour the sales orders.....ONLY AFTER THEY VERIFY IF WE STILL HAVE FINANCE SET UP..........so if we didn't, they would just have taken our deposit and ran off with it, set up a new company and said "sorry sir, that isn't us - we are called We Fit any Furniture" This seems like a royal scam to me......Watchdog best be all over this, because it sounds suspiciously like Noel Dean has just pulled a fast one on his customers and pocketed the deposits! Stuck now, because we cant get our deposit, we are being ignored (mostly) by the new company and even if we do somehow manage to get a kitchen, 1) is it going to be same quality kitchen? 2) is it going to have a warranty? 3) what if anything is broke/missing/wrong, where do we stand legally? Please, we need someone to champion the consumers on this one! James

Well were do we start as they took my money 2 days before going into administration and they say the didn't know? My fault was that I paid by cheque and it was cashed on special in 2 days?? makes me even more mad that Iam sure they and the salesperson new what was about to happen?Now they have the front to open up again!!!!!!

I am extremely angry at the dishonest way in which Betta Living has taken such a large sum of money, for Bedroom Furniture from myself, in the knowledge that the company ceased to trade on Friday 4th November 2016!!! I was asked to pay by Cheques, which I would NEVER do; I ordered my Bedroom furniture in October 2016; unfortunately I suffer from a neurological degenerative disorder, which I am sure other customers have medical problems: and makes life difficult BUT, I have an extremely intelligent mind. I have read all the published reviews and I am in the same position; I also cannot find anything about "We Fit" online which also doesn't bode at all in a positive light. I really do NOT know how the previous owners can sleep at night and I am pursuing all avenues to try and recoup my money. I truly hope that other customers maypursure the self same avenues, as myself, and have some financial success. A VERY DISGUSTED Customer.

Hi there, We made an order for wardrobes and have paid £4000 already, they were supposed to be delivered last week. Has anyone been able to get in contact with the new company. We were given a number for ' We fit' via the administrators, but no one is picking up. Please let me know if you have heard from them or been contacted. Thanks

Johnny Taylor came round designed a kitchen and took £4000 deposit off us 2 weeks before they went bump as if he didn't know.

In my opinion and from my experience Betta Living and the agents and fitters they employ have raised the meaning of the word ''duplicity'' to fresh heights. I would not recommend my worst enemy to employ their services or buy their product. Victor Unsworth Stafford

I cant believe Betta living knew they were going into administration but still took my order and my huge deposit and closed down. They have the guts to open up again as WE FIT ANY FURNITURE. i wouldn't touch them with a bargepole.. stay away from these people.. Michael

Noel Dean who was owner of Betta Living has now become a Director of WE FIT ANY FURNITURE, which went corporate on the 11th November 2016,. Would you trust HIM?

We have lost a Deposit of £1427 for a kitchen that never materialised. The Directors & Accountants of this company must have head in the sand if they did not know what was going on when they took our money. They pulled out of Next, where they had a showroom, a few weeks before this announcement, ALARM BELLS were ringing when I saw this. We would not trust any company now that want a Deposit and all the money upfront. Waiting to hear from Next who are not legally obliged to do anything but maybe morally they may consider something to eleviate our upset. As for Betta Living Directors I hope you get a good nights sleep!!!! From 2 very annoyed pensioners who have had our hard earned money stolen!!

I thought I was buying from a company backed by Next. What an awful experience. What dreadful quality and workmanship. Left with a mess of a kitchen and £17000 lost.

You closed your doors !!! My kitchen was in there i paid over £2000 dep thats now lost. Took a long time to save I dont know how you sleep knowing what you have done to people. Shame onyou

had a kitchen fitted the end on august 2016, finished 2nd September 2016, I'm still waiting to have all the defects put right, now the company is going into laudation it looks like I'm stuck with mess of a kitchen, paid expensive, looks cheep very poor customer service

Don't bother using Betta Living. See below the email my husband sent today. (01.11.16) It's disappointing to say the least that we are still waiting for a response from the email yesterday and the emails sent last week. We are still missing doors and shelves for the tall unit - meaning our kitchen installation is now several weeks overdue. Considering you were aware that we had a fitter in this weekend to finish the worktop and tall unit I cannot understand how your company failed to deliver these items despite the assurance that this was all confirmed with Jake and Andy.

Shambles don't turn up when they say they will. Left unfinished for months. Surveyor got measurements all wrong so had to cut the kitchen down. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Worst customer service I have ever experienced! Not only will I not purchase my kitchen from you but I will look elsewhere for my office and bedrooms as well. We were told the appointment would take 2hrs - he was there for 5 and would not leave until in the end I had to insist he left my house. When I queried why the price was so much more compared to your website and what I could get elsewhere I was told that of course I could get a cheaper kitchen elsewhere but he wanted his commission!. What is worse is that he bragged to my partner how he is always asked to leave the house by women, as though this was a laughing matter. You should be ashamed to have this man as a representative of your company. I will be making a formal complaint!

The company put 4 bathrooms in mother in laws house and completely ripped her off but that's a different story. 3 of them can't be used and they refuse to do anything about it! Stay clear!
