“I joined Betway thinking it was one of the best sport betting sites out there with there amazing FREE BET OFFERS, but offer are a TRICK they play on people to loose our money on their site. Everything was fine as long as i loose my deposit money and the free bet they gave. but in December I managed to win some money from my FREE BETS. And that was the end of my FREE BET OFFERS. They restricted my account from receiving any promotional offers at all. I was so disappointed with there approach, i tried to get through to their customer support service several times but only thing they could explain to was that the decision was made by SENIOR TRADERS of Betway, "they don't know the reason for this decision" and it cannot be overturned. they would not put me through to a manager who might know the reason for this "DECISION" there customer service is assistants are who work from home with no formal qualification, the only thing they can say is that they cannot help with anything and they would not put me through any management department to speak as such thing doesn't even exist. Their FREE BET OFFERS are just a BAIT to attract customers and eventually restricts account from receiving ANY OFFERS after joining them and would not give any REASONS for this decision. They would say that this was in the TERMS AND CONDITIONS when we join them. I am not being funny but their OFFERS are highlighted in BIG letters and banners in their site but the TERMS AND CONDITIONS are written in very small letters that someone would need special glasses to read them. who knows if they altering our TERMS AND CONDITIONS after joining them? VERY MISLEADING CUNNING AND SCAMMING, THEY WILL RESTRICT ACCOUNTS IF THEY THINK PEOPLE ARE WINNING OF THEIR SITE WOULD NOT GIVE A REASON FOR THE RESTRICTION AND BLAME IT ON TERMS AND CONDITIONS. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE NO MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT. I even tried to email their CEO about why they restricted my account receiving any offers. and the only reply i got from them was the same thing over and over again. “Utter scam company. I have to repeatedly phone them to credit my account both for Free bets for horse coming second and for the Best Odds Guaranteed differences. They still haven't paid from last week even though they, 'absolutely guaranteed' me they would! Betway?? More like Stayaway! Too much trouble, look elsewhere.”

“Use more reputable companies like bet365 Betfair etc....a cheap company will try any tactic yo Rob you . they have took out an unauthorised payment from my account and won't admit it and just stalling the query by inconsistent information.have contacted bank but seems unfair having to chase your own money when it was taken from my card.be aware.....”

“Terrible company. I used with no probs for a few months..Paid in £10 in to my account using my wifes card for convenience..Won £60, but 3 days later they removed the £60 with no explanation. On contacting they said it was a card used not in my name. Why not just refuse payment from all cards not in a/c holders name if thats the case..? Customer services rude, and unhelpful..just told me its in t&cs. Would never use again. Have closed account and 2 friends have done the same after hearing this.”

“dont ever use this company, I took up the offer of the £30 free bets if you bet £30, not only are they refusing to pay the £55 I wo they are also refusing to give me the £30 I pit in back. this is illegal and they are breaking the law. DO NOT PUT ANY MONEY IN THIS COWBOY COMPANY”

“Avoid like the plague! My wifehad her account for 3 months. Seemed OK until she tried to withdraw. Was asked for proof of ID and address. Sent it. Nothing for 2 weeks. Then email saying that proof of address was more than 3 months old. So? If they want something more recent they should say up front. Sent an up to date version of bank statement - cropped to hide transaction details.. Nothing for over a week, until she livechat them, asking why. They call me and say the bank statement needs to be in pdf format. Sounds like a stalling tactic - sent a pdf versio nwith nothing hidden, Still nothing. I wait another week, livechat them again. Get apologies, and some patter about backlog in their investigations. I'm starting to smell a rat.. Finally get an email, sating account is locked. It has over £300 in it. Looking into legal costs of recovering her money, and spreading the word to ensure that no one I know (or anyone else) falls for this.”

“Betway = Scamway. This company is an organised crime run by legitimate scamsters. Stay away. Update two : After the verification which was initiated by me almost 6 days back and withdrawal 4 days back, my money hasn't been credited yet. All that has happened till now is verification mails was intentionally delayed ( Gmail confirmed it ), one phone call was organized where I was deceived by saying that all my documents are in-tact and no further verification is necessary, after this promise : address document was requested two days after the verification, after all this one of the support member promised that I'll receive my money on Monday ( screenshot of that is on record ). the other support member promised I'll receive it on Tuesday ( phone call is on record ). After all this deception, intentional delay and harassment, money hasn't been credited yet.”

“Great betting site lots of free bets. I won £2450 withdrew the money onto two different cards both registered to betway 11 days later I’m still waiting for the payment. I have spent a total of 3 hours on hold. Cut off twice within no return call. Spent 4 hours on online chat and I’m still no closer to finding out what has happened to my money. They keep saying the payment has been processed but it clearly hasn’t. I have requested to speak to a manager but that has never happened. Disgusting customer service. They are happy to take your money but don’t want to pay it back to you. Once I receive payment I’ll never use them again I don’t trust them anymore.”

“Really confused and disappointed by this company. I only signed up with them 1 week ago after a recommendation from a friend who uses them for horse betting. I only bet on horse betting and football occasionally the odd other thing if I feel like it and after 1 week my account was suspended. I have absolutely no idea why and they wouldn't give me any explanation whatsoever - only that it was a final decision and there is no way to appeal! Absolutely ridiculous behaviour - I have no idea what I did wrong!”

“They Don't even deserve 1 star.... Refusing to pay me out, luckily for me my husband is a journalist and we have gone straight to the racing post and sporting life, they need to be stopped... “Used them a fair amount over the past couple of years, not the best odds but I use them when I see a market I like. Today, after taking the 1.55 York offer yesterday for ‘money back as free bet if you lose’ my free bet still hasn’t been credited so contacted customer service who said from now on all promotions etc have stopped and there’s nothing I can do, no reason given and it’s not like I’ve even made any money off them all I’ve done with Betway is lose money! They’re still offering me promotions even today yet they said I’m not allowed them so avoid them, they’re a fraud company and don’t stick to what they offer.”
