“Massive range of stock - they always seem to have the tiny niche Shimano part I'm after. Prompt despatch. I'd pay for faster shipping if the option was available but Royal Mail gets stuff to me eventually.”
“I suffered a puncture on a Thursday afternoon, and broke one of my cheapo plasic tyre levers on removing the tyre. One of my riding companions loaned me her levers, and recommended the Park Tools steel core tyre levers as a replacement. I ordered a pair from Bikeparts that evening, as they had the best price, postage included. They arrived on Monday morning - a pretty good turnaround time.
Of course, I haven't had to use them yet, but they look pretty much indestructible. I'm pleased with both the price and the rapid delivery.”
“I ordered two SRAM PC 830 chains. They were a good price and were delivered promptly/ I have two small niggles though. Only one is at Bikeparts' door. The illustration and information on the website neglected to say that the chains had only 114 links, which is two short for my bike. Luckily I have often changed chains for other people so I had some spare links handy to make up the length. But I might have chosen a different product if I had been made aware what I was buying.
The second niggle is down to SRAM, not Bikeparts. I was having some trouble setting the 'Powerlink' in place because of my arthritic fingers. Although it was obvious how the thing worked, I thought I'd just check the instructions to see if there might be a simple method listed. When I opened up the pamphlet, there were no illustrations or instructions, merely the name of a www web address to consult for information! I had oliy fingers by that time and anyway I don't have a smart phone myself, I use a desktop computer and an old voice/text phone. I was quite disgusted at the meretricious cop-out taken by the SRAM people. It can't be a question of cost, as the pamphlet was there already, though quite useless. This is the sort of stupid thoughtlessness that engenders resentment and consequent sales resistance.”
“Bike parts were the cheapest for the Shimano cycling sandals. They arrived quickly, but the size guide was inaccurate. The sandals were much larger than expected, so I had to return them.”
