“The strap that came with it was very uncomfortable and cut off circulation. Is very very difficult to secure. I see that they have a 2. 0 version and I think that should have shipped with it”
“The features that are highlighted in the advertising do not function while you are active.. If they would have stated that up front I wouldn't have purchased. Also the 30 day money back guarantee conveniently leaves out the$25 restocking fee.”
“Battery life is so terrible. A couple days max. Plus I bought the max pack and lost the charger extra straps and foot pod immediately. Too bulky and too many pieces to keep track of”
“The device is absolutely awesome - Both my wife and I wear this at night for the very thorough sleep feedback and we wear our apple watches during the day for other feedback. The biostrap provides accurate and vital information at night regarding HR, HRV, SPO2 and RESP. The only complaint we have is with the standard wrist strap that comes with the BioStrap device. It is Extremely difficult to connect and stay on at night. That being said, they now have an improved wrist strap available that is easier to connect and stay on at night and more comfortable. Its a bit pricy at $30 but well worth it for the ease and comfort of putting it on and wearing it all night.”
“Viewing current info is too slow.
strap not easy to wear or put on.
battery charge is slow.
the concept of data provided is great if it proves accurate.
I question the accuracy of the sleep data.”
“I was very disappointed with biostrap. First the device was defective and when I tried to reach support it took several hours for them to reply. I also was irritated that I had to pay the restocking fee as the device was defective. I was not returning it because I was dissatisfied but because it was defective. But I refused replacement because of the support or lack of it.”
“Nice look to Spo2 and other body parameters. Hope next edition will track vo2max too, to help me more with workouts. Wristband
Support is amazing: always nice and informative. They answered to many of my questions (including during a weekend when I needed help to onboard on the Android app) and replaced the wristband when problems turned to be blocking. Kudos, but keep going.”
“I was so excited o get this, and I actually told about 5 of my friends that have been looking for health trackers. They were all waiting for what I thought would be a rave review, but it was far from it. The only thing it actually tracked was my sleep cycle, and it wasn't even accurate. It basically started when I got into bed (which I would read for ~30 minutes), and ended when I got out of bed (which I would read for about an hour after waking up). It never once tracked a workout, even though I trained it to do so. It never tracked my calories burnt. Basically, it did nothing that it said it would do. Save your money and the ridiculous "$25 restocking fee".”
“It takes way too long to sync after recording your sleep. If you work out first thing in the morning, this can be a big problem. You can't record your workout until it stops syncing.”
“Received a bad unit, contacted support, they wanted me to wait 4+ days till the battery died and see if it resets. I was returning the whole thing, then they offered exchange, so I took it. Exchange took a few days, but the replacement is working fine. Don't know if I have a new unit or recertified, but seems to be working ok.”
“My charger was not working properly, sometimes it would not charge, no matter what I tried. Biostrap replaced it in 1 business days, problem solved! Fantastic!”
“While the 2.0 strap is much better than the original, it still has its flaws and typically becomes unbuckled. When it does work though, the data is wonderful to analyze for those who just want to get healthier and those who want to take their athletic endeavors to the next level”
